Crazy how Big Show’s WWE career was exactly like his career in WCW. He debuts as a heel, wins the world title from Hogan, then vacant it, then wins it again, turns into a good guy during Hogan’s NWO run, loses the world the title to Hogan, then turns into a bad guy by joining Hogan again in the NWO, then turns face again, and turns heel and joins the NWO AGAIN, and then leaves WCW for good.

My favorite Big Show moment was in a match between Randy Orton and Sheamus with the "Awesome crowd." Fans there didn't want the match, so they took it over, chanting for anything but the two guys in the ring. Then Big Show, who was supposed to be a monster heel at the time, interrupts the match. When WCW (and ECW) died, wrestlers didn't have another viable place to go to freshen their character or breathe new life into their career so many just stayed in WWE. As their stay became longer and longer they became more and more stale so these alarming amount of turns for a Big Show or Kane etc. became commonplace because you weren't going to cut them so you gotta find a reason to get the audience to care

Imo Big Show and Kane are the worst booked main event level talents of all time. Big Show was booked best when Heyman had a say, in 2002 to 2004 and again in 2006 (but he was on the wrong show in 2006) And Kane was best booked during his original incarnation from 1997 to 2003.

Considering he turned between heel and Babyface multiple times within his first year in WWE the writing was on the wall for the years to come

In WCW as the Giant he was scary and dominating but the WWE made him a clown geting beaten easy by guys who were not even his size. He was not a main eventer there as no one cared about him. Even the name BIg Show sounded silly. They should have used his real name and called him Paul the Giant White.
