Tribit make EXCELLENT speakers without exception and to add to that, they are rugged and unbelievable value for money. Their latest offering, the Stormbox Mini, is a feat, up there with the best... Better than the Bose Soundlink Mini which is much more expensive. To better any of Tribit's speakers, you'd have to spend 2 - 3 times as much, if not 4 times! Their products are not just great, they are amazing!! ANY Tribit speaker... you can't go wrong.

There's two 3.7 volt battery of 2200mah each. Making a total of 7.4 volt 4400 mah. So it is able run 20 hours for a 24watt output. Only a single 2200mah will have no chance providing juice for up to 20hours or even 10. So it's alright to say this speaker has 4400 mah overall.

I have the xboom and it’s almost as good as the JBL Flip 4. Just the JBL sounds more crisp. But I have to try the max sound plus for sure and compare. But I honestly still love JBL Flip 4. Even though Tribit is right behind JBL and they are getting close!

The battery is great actually. I'm not sure exactly how long it takes to drain but it throws me off when it finally beeps at me to charge it. On another note: I just received the new version (XSound Go) and I'll be unboxing it soon😉👍

I own a Doss sounbox xl and now i have to replace it. Cant decide between this Tribit Maxsound plus or the Anker Soundcore Motion plus. I dont want to get a speaker that sounds lower or doesnt have the power that the Doss had.. but pricewise the Tribit is a lot closer to the Doss.. Not sure if the Anker is worth the price difference with the TRibit.

Now, I have an option to buy a premium Bluetooth speaker in budget. I highly recommend it. After I used it for a while, I found that the update level of tribit MaxSound puls has changed a lot. The Bluetooth connection is more stable, and the feel is more suitable for the palm than the small version.

Tribit wins this by far. It also wins against the 20, but not by by that much. There really is a difference you can easily hear, but the Xb20 still sound good.

I'm listening to this review via my MaxSound Plus. Great speaker, and the smaller, cheaper XSound Go is awesome too. One thing that annoys me about the MaxSound Plus though, is that it seems to keep turning itself off when it hasn't had any actually audio input for a period of time (even if it remains connected to a device). I assume that this is a power-saving feature, but it does this even when it is connected to a charger. It is really annoying, cos I like to leave it connected to my Amazon Echo Input and I want it to be ready to go at any time. My XSound Go doesn't do this, even when it isn't connected to a charger, which is exactly want I want. Does anyone else have the same problem and know how to turn the power-saving function off on the MaxSound Plus? If necessary, I'll ask Tribit directly. Cheers

I'm looking to buy this speaker, but your comment intrigues me. How long do you reckon it takes for it to shut down, when nothing is playing? I have a similiar thing happening with my wireless sony wi-500sp headphones, and its absolutely a deal breaker - they disconnect from the device after approx 20-30 seconds of no audio and then keep reconnecting instantly, and keep announcing it - they are driving me mad tbh.

@@dominiksx Although I haven't timed it, it is more like 20 to 30 MINUTES of no sound. It doesn't make and sound when it turns itself off, but obviously makes sounds when turning it back on and when reconnecting to the device (and if you turn it off manually). I haven't tried connecting anything to the "aux in" port. I don't know if that would make any difference.

Bought the speaker and I was left underwhelmed with the bass definitely stay away if bass is very important to other than that it's a great speaker way better than average sounding and no Distortion and beautifully balanced but again has no bass so stay away from me if you like a lot of bass
