Clean setup. You’re right about grounds. A ground completes the circuit, without a good ground you’ll get voltage drops, which lead to clipping subwoofers which burn up voice coils

Are you running a battery isolator? Sorry if you mentioned it and i missed it. Also, is it necessary to use one? Im running two AGM batteries in my trunk. One is my main battery and the other is my secondary/auxiliary going to my amp.

There’s no need for an isolator when your using these batteries they will work properly without ☝️
