Ice fished Big Stone 50 years ago. Brutal cold winters. Swedish pimple in 15 FTW. Site fishing as we had no flashers back then. We would fill five gallon buckets with jumbo perch.

The size of those schools of fish on big stone is crazy. I love all the underwater footage. It can be pretty humbling when you see all of them, and its one of those days where they just keep swimming by.

I doubt much is left after the slaughter last year. Central minnesota didnt get fished at all. Heavy snow if u want fish willmar.alex areA

Very informative video. No plans to visit this lake but I can definitely transfer some of that knowledge to my local area. Learned a thing or 2 to try out on an off day as well. Thank you sir and tight lines. I had to head to the U.P. of Michigan just to find ice. Guys in boats on 3/4 open water lakes last week here in the middle of Wisconsin.

Big stone never disappoints! Monster crappie, gills, white bass, and jumbo perch. Can't get any better than that. Haven't seen much walleye tho.

Well done, I don't fish Big Stone but the tips you gave are the same techniques I have used on my local lake. Including the jig selection and colors.
