I was in the same boat as you, still am a bit, but I started spending more time filming and photographing wildlife and even the fish with a superzoom camera and a polarized filter and sometimes I honestly enjoy filming the fish more than catching it. At the very least the catch becomes so much sweeter if you also have a clip of the fish rising/eating before.

My knee started hurting last week out fishing. Doc said it’s an over use problem. Said to stay off it for a couple weeks. Ha ya right. Ace bandage wrap and back out fishing. When you live in the best trout waters in the USA you get out to fish a few times a week lol. Great fish!
