Hey that Bowfin looked big just a heads up if you catch another big one the state record in Oklahoma is only 11 pounds 2 ozs and I think you might have beaten that.

Nice channel cat, second one wasn’t bad either. As far as the bowfin goes….”good” is a relative term. Depends on what someone considers tasty lol…I’ll pass unless it’s Red Dawn or some other survival situation

Bowfin r a nasty eating fish. Taste like Long John Silver's thawed their fish out with a pressure washer. Equivalent to wet fried cotton balls.
