I use the same length paddle for everything. But anything a bit bigger that I want full confidence I’ll paddle the gnarvana

So the coating on the lens does do a little bit better than the older lenses when using it without licking it. Although now, when you lick it, it will actually counteract the coating. So if you have a 10, 11, or 12, just use it normal without licking it, Still dunk it occasionally. But if you can get your hands on a 9 lens, licking and dunking that is still a lot better.
