It’s amazing that I get to watch your lovely children grow into the restoration business through these videos. Oh, and the restoration itself was amazing as always.

As your kids would say, “Awesome”. Loved the restoration of the old toy box. Came out better than I expected. I never realised that Vevor makes so many tools. I was pleasantly surprised with the clamps. The screwdriver was unexpected and seemed to perform well. Great video again mate. Well worth waiting for. Say hi to the family for the wife and I.

Thanks mate. Yes Vevor has loads of tools. The US site has even more stuff than us aussies. Worth checking out even if you just want to browse. Hope you and the family are having a nice Easter break. Regards to you all 😉👍

I like what’s in the box, reminds me of when I was little and we would play hide and seek. Love the restoration!!!

Brilliant video. Those clamps and screwdriver from Vevor look really good. I Love the way this project came together. I especially liked the Walnut stain, one of my favorites. Great job 👍👍

Very nice job. Give me power tools every time. And clamps, it's nice to see nails still have a use. I have collected quite a few in Estate sales recently. BTW you had good help.

Thanks Dale. I had to buy a new box of nails. It will last me a lifetime 😁😉

Considering the way that came out and guess it looked along those lines new, I was surprised at the original furry bottom it came with . Nice resto , great stain colour choice .

Thanks mate. Yes, looks like it had a wet bottom at some point 😉👍

Well done! 👍🏼👍🏼 Another timber project with a great finish. It's always better to see timber for what it is, as opposed to "those" reno shows (& the like), wanting to paint everything. Nice to see the (somewhat) sharp edge sorted for the sake of little hands. 👍🏼👍🏼 That "furryboard" is how it always ends up once it's been wet. Never understood why anyone would use it in furniture. It's not that much cheaper than the (much better!) ply sheet you used.

Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed it. You right about those mdf boards. They not water friendly. We have the dolls box and the doll pram to go with it , may be I should do a project for myself next 😉

@@LittleRestorers We should be thanking you. 👍👍 There's not many better things to see than great, almost forgotten (by some!) toys, tools & furniture avoiding landfill & having a second chance. I get a great kick out of it! If I had more time, I'd record some of the things I've got coming up. I have few regrets in life, all fairly trivial, really. One is not recording my past resto's! There'd be thousands of hours over a few decades. 🤣🤣 At least I've got plenty of pics.

@KevinD_33x150 Mate, would love to see some of your pics. We have a great Facebook group called "Anything Restoration". Look it up. Some great guys share some of their work on there 😉

I guess the only thing I would question is why you used nails instead of screws, and why, since you did use nails, you didn't use a center punch to set the nails instead of trying to nail them all the way in. Otherwise, it looks good.
@LittleRestorers7 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching. The box is originally nailed together with nail gun. Nail heads were set with centre punch before filling the holes. I briefly showed it. 😉

Can't stand when they cheap out and use garage wood like that original bottom board.
