What can I say, 10lb 12oz, 80cm long, what a fish! Enjoy...
Unfortunately I did not have my large landing net assembled for this session. As mentioned, I thought I may catch a pike or two and would have happily chinned them out. I did consider I might catch a zander but having only caught modest ones at this stretch previously I knew my small net would suffice.
Fortunately I was fishing right next to my car and I was able to grab my large landing and unhooking mat/weigh sling in which to rest and weigh the fish.
