Great analysis Wild Ute! Agree 100%.....BIG12 looking for solid third place "bronze" position now. Considering the BIG12 was left for dead only a few short years ago, #3 and staying relevant is a big win!

Would love to see this analysis with two things changed; FSU and CU added to the B12 with their CFP credits and a B12 contract renegotiated for on fair market value for FSU/CU + the four corners schools who I would assume were a more valuable addition than the 12 B12 teams that the $31.7 contract were based on. Or at least do analysis with the 100% increase in’31 based on reasonable estimates. Thanks.

Is the estimated doubling of the next B12 media value, exclusive of any ACC expansion additions? If it is, and the ACC is stuck with a contract until 2036, does that make mid-tier ACC teams (Pitt, BT, NCSt, Louisville etc) more likely to pay a big buyout to jump to the B12 if FSU, Clemson, UNC & Miami leave?

This ACC deal is so flawed with the three new schools as those teams will look like crap with no money and little to no NIL. They will look like three MAC schools and create irreparable damage to themselves and to the ACC conference.
