I worked in medium firm for 2 months and then transferred to MNC for articleship, and I can already see huge difference in the work quality, in MNCs u have perfect documentation, after u join they make u watch mandatory training of standards, timesheets, discipline, corporate culture etc. ...but it is true that for 3 yrs u will be doing audit itself, I'm sure I want to go into employment itself so I'm into MNCs but if u r sure to set up a practice then maybe try normal firms...many people who don't get into MNCs are bitching saying these are useless but apart from the fact that u don't get exposure in other areas, MNCs are great, the quality is on another level

Teachers who compare CA to doctor n say that specialisation during articleship is important FORGET the fact that doctors study general things during MBBS of around 5.5 yrs where last year they do internship in those general things. After this general practical things in mbbs they go for specialisation.
