I have had 1 for a week. Today I took it out in 34 degrees snowy weather and it was fine. The problem seems to be finding a safe route not with performance of the trike. Mountaineers use to summit peaks in the past with wool. So, this new 2020 tech is way better than the pioneers on the Oregon trail had, is my point. This technology is great and allows me to get outside. The stock shifters work great I’m just thinking. I want to get on a road and just pedal for days in peace. The Trans Canada trail looks like good. My idea is to load it up with backpacking gear. Riding to the trail head. Leaving the trike. Then hiking to the backcountry to sleep over night and return. Trike to the next town over. Laundry, shower, Reup on supplies then repeat. Go for ever until the weather gets cold then hunker down like a hibernating bear.

I fully paid for my catrike Expedition, in a few days i get to pick it up ! I want to get a few accessories. But that is down the road.

I have had my Expedition for a year now. It is amazing and I yearn to ride it almost every day! I am excited that Winter is closing out. I have only been able to get out 3 days this winter. I just ordered a Catrike 700 (Loaded!). I won't get it until May/June but I have my Expedition in the mean time. My wife will adopt the Expedition once my 700 arrives .

I was outside on my trike 3 times before the season of snow started and when the salt on every road. I don't want to ruin the aluminum frame from the salt, and the more corrosive liquid salt the city puts on the roads!

I am so happy with my Catrike Dumont and will never go to anything else. It is the Cadillac of all bikes and Trikes.
