Thanks for this very educational video. I am about to test-ride a Catrike Villager and it was good to see the MAX comparison. For me, the Villager's three-speed front derailleur is an important feature for my paved but hilly neighborhood. I am switching from a mountain bike and the ability to go up hills slowly without falling over is important.

I like the Max weight wise it would help me , but does the max come upgradable to having mountain bike tires, so I can ride in dirt as well as asphalt?

Personally your compairin apple to oranges. The max is built for bigger/heaver rider. The villager is built for a the average person. Im 6'4", and 425 lb. Id probably destroy the villager over time. Not picking just saying.
