Really like how you showed a real-world oversight with cutting the hole and how to resolve it 👍

This upgrade, and the split A/C were the biggest questions I had for you on what made sense, and how to. So glad you're showing us another expert build to learn from. Thanks, Techno Barbarian!

Wow. You and your brother have done great work on this so far. Can't wait to catch up on the rest of the build videos for it.

I’m really enjoying you channel, i’m so glad that somebody informed me about you. My build is also going to be a toy hauler, trying to figure out where I’m gonna put everything with limited space because of having a four wheeler in the back it’s going to be challenging. I can’t wait to see how yours turns out!

i feel like saving space and weight and using an accordion style door would be good, could collapse into that extra space you had there too haha, great work !

Wont keep the heat out of the cabin area. Needs to be airtight and insulated

I have seen a pass-through door once that was a slider I think the box is made by Hyster. When you turn the handle to slide the door open the hinges pivoted out in ran smoothly along a track and when you closed it it ran along the track and just before it latched it pivoted back in injecting itself into the door jamb with a tight fit . No squeaks or rattles from it as you drove either. I'm working with a 10-foot box and having the convenience of that slider not opening into the room would give me so many more options with my living area.

I'm sorry if this is obvious and I haven't seen the video yet, but do you have a video of when you cut out the passthrough?

Why not use a solid wood door and cut it to size? Wouldn't that be more sturdy, safer, and just as insulating as the door you built? Also, what is the size of your door - other than "bigger"?

Does the interior length of your 17' box truck include the Mom's Attic area or is that an additional couple of feet over the cab? Loved your whole previous build series! Thanks.

On Uhauls website you if you google 17' Uhaul thre is an image that gives you all the dimensions. 17' includes the moms attic. It's 14'3" + 2'6" (moms attic), which they call the 17' uhaul.

What box truck model are you using for your builds?
@LisaLightning Жыл бұрын
This would solve the biggest problem I saw with box trucks, that you can’t get through from the cab to the back. So cool. I would have to hire someone to do this, but would be worth it because used moving trucks are not so outrageously expensive. Worried about gas mileage but the extra space is so worth it.
