I worked for several storage facilities in SoCal a few years back and we not only found but also allowed several people to live, very carefully and quietly in some of the storage units. We had 24 hr access so people didn't really worry if there were other people running around. They were nice people, so we had no problem with them

your truck is really cool you have done a lot of thinking about the design. the use of spare is excellent. and best part about it is no one knows. take care, be safe, and stay stealthy

A small detail would be to put the shower head on the opposite wall so that you have a standing shower over the open floor space. Secondly is the standard complaint I have for DIY conversions you need a lip on every shelf and the possibility to mount bungee cords or nets inflont of all shelfs. All doors and drawers need a locking feature. A question tho, are the eyelets to secure the bike centered on the cabinet or the wheelchuck? Didn't really get video of that part. I really like your build. What are your gross tonnage on the complete build? And have you considered mounting fisheye lenses on the outside? You could hook them to the TV and dash and get a combination of windows/surveillance and backup camera/side view mirrors.

Cameras aren't usually monitored 24/7.... they are more likely being recorded and the video will only be reviewed if they an an issue such as a theft or property damage.

I may have missed it if you mentioned a carbon monoxide detector, but do be sure there is one. This is a fantastic build, the only serious problem here-- and it is a grave problem-- is the lack of a second egress when in stealth mode as required by RV codes-- they are required for good reason. Local AHJs could demand this vehicle not be slept in until that problem is remedied, if they were to notice this vehicle. I'd just use a larger skylight with a collapsable drop-down ladder (this would also improve roof access anyway, which I discovered we needed more often in our RV than I ever would have thought), but there are many alternatives. For example, many work trucks and trailers have a man door on one side of the box or even within the rear door, so even though U-HAULs generally don't have them, these would seem compatible with a stealth mode design to me.

Seen a lot of van conversions, but this box truck has more of a house feeling about it. Love the height and the 6' 5" bed, something else that van conversions don't usually have. A full-length bed.

What all housing will look like in 10 years

A few potential Hazzard parking here. Grid goes down your not getting out, or in. Shtf, employee not coming in, again no out/in. Lastly if you store prepping in unit, and endeavoring to bug out, other people see what your pulling out. Trouble

I happen to be a manager of a major storage facility and yes we can tell when and who comes and goes at any given time , there are cameras you can see and ones you can’t , not only is it not safe it’s also illegal to do this and wether you have a unit or not if you’re on facility grounds after posted gate access time , facility managers can call police and have you arrested for trespassing , your vehicle towed and immediate termination of your lease .

Truck looks very cool and the food looks amazing. But I personally do not get the appeal of stealthcamping..... Sure if you have to live like that for a long time cause of rentprices that makes sense.... But as a hobby I don't get it. With the bushcraft guys you get the scenic vista and beautiful near death experiences with bears and stuff^^. Please explain. Edit: You promised we shower together and then you went all alone. Mean. 😀 Edit2: They banged the trashbin like that cause the shredden corpsegoop wouldn't empty propperly. Duh. 😀

The way you started talking made me wonder if you REALLY were going to show something new , never before seen , in the "stealth" RV spectrum....NOT! 🤔👀🤪 EVERYTHING , and I mean , EVERY SINGLE THING you built has been done. Not just 7 or 8 months ago , YEARS ago. To add , your whole attitude in the demonstration was of a superior nature , all whilst demeaning other (better builders ☺👀🤫) real innovators of their hard work. What you have there big boy is a stolen blueprint of other builds that you've pawned off as new and unique to those that don't follow builds as much. almost as bad as stolen Valor (much respect to our fallen heroes 🙏💪❤) . I've seen better box truck conversions than that plain Jim of a build you called "never before seen " 🤪
