I just started car shopping for highlander hybrids. Just the monthly for a 2023 Toyota hybrid is over $850 a month with around $5,000-$7500 down. I can't imagine the monthly cost of the Grand Highlander. Car prices are out of control.

A fully loaded grand highlander hybrid is just under 70k, if there is no market adjustment. Now a days, Toyota’s price is no cheaper than German brands.

V6 is used for vans with a big housing for their engines. I4 hybrid turbo already had a whopping 362 buffed ponies so why bother having a 250 - 320 n/a V6 hybrid ponies

Unless you turbo the V6 it might get to 380 horses but still I4 has a superior mileage and reliability and simplicity so the cost of the car is low

Nope. Slightly more than regular Highlander. Max lineup of top Highlander is around $52k, and I guess this Grand Highlander top of the trim should be around $68k. If it's $80k I'd rather pick Sequoia Capstone.

That’s probably 60k+ we bought the regular highlander with a V6 for 45k and I thought that was a ridiculous amount of money who can afford these with 4 kids? I’d buy the smaller cheap one cause it does the trick. Had it two years and it’s served the purpose well.

Being a Toyota and a hybrid, no doubt this will be an excellent choice. My worry is the Toyota Century SUV is also based on this vehicle. If this thing is to pricy, it’s out of the question for many. Is this thing going to cost between Sequoia and Land Cruiser? Or is this a low volume vehicle like Land Cruiser?

The only problem with hybrids is that you can’t leave even for a week. When u get back, the battery needs to be charged and you can’t drive. So I prefer gas

This is a standard hybrid, it doesn’t need to be charged. Only Plug In Hybrids need to be charged, and even then you have a gas engine

The GX will be a 550 with a V6. This is a turbo 4 like the TX that's coming.
