Thank You, a very interesting review, especially around meat and beverages sections. Don't they have a variety of milk products shelves?
@awaywithjudy2 жыл бұрын
Yesss they have a huge section on just milk products alone!!

Do they still have the coco curry house rice ball? Those are one of my favorite things in taiwan. Makes me want to go back
@awaywithjudy2 жыл бұрын
There are still coco curry house locations as a physical store but I don't believe they sell the rice balls at 7/11 anymore! Hope you come back to visit soon Lance :)

In the US you can go to 7-11 and get a hotdog that is both wet and dry at the same time

@awaywithjudy Back in the 80s, 7-11s used to have coin-op video games. Japan still has Namco and arcades are starting to make a comeback in the US; are there arcades or shops with video games in Taiwan? PS - my wife and I would go to Canal street in Manhattan to get siopao, once ate so much it made us sick XD
@awaywithjudy Жыл бұрын
Yesss there are a ton of arcades and video game cafes in Taiwan!! Hope you can go visit soon :)

This channel is a gem, +1 subscriber from the UK! Judy, do you think that the Taiwanese would welcome tourists when the borders re-open, or do you feel that many will be apprehensive and that tourists will have a limited selection of places to visit? I've missed travelling to East Asia and, with the Mainland's endless border closure, I'm planning on visiting Taiwan when it's possible to do so. However, I hope that the island will be as welcoming as before for tourists.

Wow much appreciated!! Means a lot 😍! Just speaking from my opinion, it has been such a blessing living in Taiwan especially during the worst peak of times all around the world but as the borders have been closed for quite some time now, I believe most locals and residents are ready for the borders to open back up and for tourism to start up again! Really hope it happens so you could visit soon! :)

I think you are moving a little too fast when showing us all the goodies in the beginning, hard to see. But I enjoyed your night market video.

just because you're a carnivore doesn't mean you can't enjoy tofu. some of the best dishes have both meat and tofu. i am about to make firm tofu with larou and garlic sprouts for lunch. there are also many kinds of tofu. i love it, but i didn't when i lived in america. to each their own though.
