12:44 Quick fact about canister shot: They call it a canister shot because you have a canister shaped shell, filled with shrapnel and small pieces of metal/musket balls. Once fired, it travels quite fast and can be devastating against large groups of infantry at close range. It can rip through the guys in the front, and probably the guys behind them too.

2 fun facts: 1. The Zulu's weren't even meant to be there in the first place, they had broken off from the main group. 2. The British at Iswalanda thought that it was going to be a walkover with their cannons, rifles and a few Gatling guns(as I remember). They hadn't thought about the Zulu tactics.

World War one really feels like it had the best aesthetic, I was actually really pulled in compared to the plastic-y kinda feel of the napoleonic maps etc. Also muskets get boring and sometimes you just need a good ol fashioned machine gun. Just a thought, would breaking your long 20 min videos into shorter 10 min videos boost audience retention and click through rate? It's a bit scummy but like... doesnt hurt anyone.
