I am on day 8, went to work yesterday but only lasted about 6 hrs, took a nice winter walk in the afternoon and that really helped. The nights are still shit and they carry over into the mornings. I am smoking weed, drinking lots of coconut water, using melatonin to try and sleep, cause it is hard to sleep. My faith is telling me that this is my last recovery. It has taken me a lifetime to understand and properly respect my addiction.

Gabe, I still have trouble believing in God, but I have found that when I listen to my conscience, I tend to do all the right things. Perhaps that is God’s way of communicating with me, even though I don’t believe.

@@CMoore8539 Your conscience is that being inside of you that truly knows there is a God, and He is the God of the Bible. Sometimes it's tough for those of us who have had bad experiences in life, or several bad experiences, to believe in a loving God. The fact of the matter is that you have to dig deep, read & research the Bible to the point where you can't NOT believe. It may take a long time, but I promise this will be the result. Many people wanna ask how can a loving God let all the terrible things we go thru happen. Truth is that as long as you accept Jesus as your Savior, one day when you leave this messed up planet, you'll be in a Paradise that is unfathomable to the human mind here on Earth. Hope I didn't overstep with anything I said, but I would love for you to pray & ask God for the power of belief and for Jesus to come in your Heart. I say all this with much Love! ❤

Cindy’s Journey -Thank you as always Cindy! I’m glad we have been able to become friends through this. Your also very supportive and your always here. It’s awesome! Your conscience being God speaking to u has a case to made... the Bible says that God has written his laws on our heart, and it also says that a person who knows the right thing to do, and does not do it. To them, it is sin. We must keep searching with an honest heart. And I respect you and your beliefs. I respect that you don’t just blindly believe anything. The Bible actually says “test everything”. It’s taken me a long time to finally get to where I believe in God, and then a personal God, then the God of the Bible. I wrestled with a TON of stuff for years. Lots of reading and searching with a completely honest heart and open to the fact I might be wrong about some stuff or absolutely everything. I was raised in a broken home, splitting time with my mom and my dad since I was 4. with one parent as a believer. (My dad) he completely changed his life and stopped using, and many other things. And my mom who was agnostic. Oddly enough she now is a believer and they are both re-married and get along great. In fact, they were both here yesterday watching the SB... oh dear I don’t wanna go down that road.lol! But I believe only the God could have restored me, and my family to not just being civil again, but being family again. Anyway. Love you Cindy, never wanna sound like I’m preaching and saying you Must believe this or that. Life is a journey, we exist today.., and die tomorrow. God bless and I genuinely thank you for being so supportive of my channel! I can’t tell you how much that means to me that your always here and have nothing but nice things to say. God bless you.

Man got off Detroit 5 years ago into suboxone. Got off suboxone 3 years ago. Went straight to kratom. Got off kratom once but back on because I was in an abusive relationship. Now kratom has ruined another relationship. It made me numb and dull at all times. Not able to really have compassion after the honeymoon phase. I relapsed again and I’m trying to use very small amounts of kratom to get off. I was taking 250grams a week. Now I take half a spoon once a day. On day one. Feel like the kratom just sort of takes over. It’s probably just pushing the withdrawals back.

All very good points man! For me, I can't use anything or I'll be right back where I was, but that differs from person to person. I can't even smoke cigarettes anymore without my conscience kickin my tail! As a matter of fact today is the 3 month mark without any nicotine for me & 205 days without opiates, weed, and alcohol after pretty much 30 years of not playin around. I did drink one time back in August (how dare I), but I got over that little bump. #AllAboutJesus

@@gabemccall3523 Your last sentence there is the key Bro! Once I realized all bad things in my life are done by my sinful nature, and all good are done thru Jesus in me, then I was able to embark on this journey that couldn't have been done by me. I never thought I would get this far in the beginning, and I shouldn't have. I didn't plan at all as far as how to do it, eating right, or pretty much any of it. I did do a very quick taper that helped, but I lost a very unhealthy amount of weight, was dehydrated to a point that was insane, and just laid in the bed praying to go to sleep and not wake up. Then God said "I don't think so"! So definitely, all Glory to God! Love ya Bro!

Charlie Elrod -Dang right. I wouldn’t even be close to where I am without God. I never would have tried, I would have e been a Nihilist or a half a** Christian at best. Kinda funny I even said that. Have yet pastor say., “don’t be a half a** Christian!” Lol! I’m still a bit luke warm at times and gotta be more consistent. I’m always telling my wife... we believe the word of God right? Well, it’s it’s true and we believe it? Why don’t we live like it all the time and give it all to him? We either believe it or not. No middle ground. What your truly believe is what you do, not what you say. I’m a no middle ground guy as I’m sure u know as you have gotten to know me. But it’s amazing how strong the flesh and sin are. It’s a raging war all the time. But Jesus was tempted in every way like you and I, emptied himself of every and learned obedience. He can now sympathize with us as our high priest. You can probably tell I read Hebrews in the last week or so. But it’s true and the Bible says it. And dang it... we believe the Bible. Not just from blind faith but with evidence and logic as well. It all started with me... something out of nothing??? Not logical at all!!! That mathematical equation doesn’t work. From nothing... comes nothing. A rock coming from nothing would be impossible! Let alone moral beings that are precious, know what it is to love, right and wrong... what is right and what is wrong without God??? No one would know. Who’s to say Hitler or anyone else is “wrong” with no moral standards. Sorry for the rant. Maybe I’ll have to do a rant video like that soon. Lol! God bless brother. We are putting or faith into action getting off all this crap right now. It’s a giant leap of faith and we believe.
