If they do that then YOU should go to the tower and get that wave exp. Getting good habits will never be a detriment to your play, because the higher MMR you go up, the better your offlaners will be. Speed even says later that you should be grabbing as much exp as possible without griefing your team. Blaming your carry is literally just a crutch and I guarantee its holding you back in climbing

Also, my point is that all these videos that are supposed to tell you how to increase your mmr, assumes that you have somewhat good players on your team. Which you rarely do.

I'm only 100hours into Dota as a new player and have only played Pos 5. For me if I'm forced to play Pos 4 it just throws me completely off because I don't know the pull timings or item builds. Like, do I guardian greaves or glimmer cape? Or something else? These types of videos are so useful to new players who have picked the game up after watching the pros

Side pull, and then when he comes for the wave. Hit him, block the opposing side pull camp with sentries. Repeat. Always right click the carry when he comes for last hit. Buy lots of mana and regen, spam ur skills and trade. If he goes to jungle to recover, smoke with your offlaner and kill him. then you can buy sentries and wards to block their camps

It is so sad watching about 80% games supports are having several times deeper understandment of DotA, its mechanics, how to itemize against certain meta heroes. I curious when or what is that orb of Venom useful for? I thought u buy that thing for Viper or Venomancer to add a little for their poison venom. this only works in low mmr games, sub 1-2kish. The moment you leave your offlane like that with no detection, no vision just to pull a small creep camp, you him vulnerable to ganks. Also if you constantly pull too much, your gonna end up in a trilane with both supports in your lane on the other team to contest those pulls and youll end up dying/feeding way more than getting anything by pulling. Also many low mmr supports prioritize unnecessary items first like scepters instead of items like force staff, euls or some kind of escape.

Happens in EU aswell, Was playing pos 4 ogre with a huskar and the huskar was just diving constantly and then he started saying i wasn't playing pos 4 because i was taking the farm when he was dead, Same when i was side pulling. He kept telling me to use my spells to help him dive when i was out of mana because i had been trying to help him, Dude died like 25 times by the time the game was over. Our lane wasn't a kill lane we were against an ES and sniper and dude didn't max his burning spears, Every time he dived ES stunned him and sniper kited him which wouldn't have been so bad if he didn't keep pushing the lane and there wasn't anything i could do with a lvl 2 stun and lvl 1 slow, Maybe i was playing too cautiously but i'd rather be cautious than feed. Yes, the fact when I told my teammates or friends to properly play, especially pulling, and they went mad and said it’s not necessary. They didn’t even know to pull any camp except but the small camp that is never stacked. The fact that they thought supports have less to no impact, losing is carry’s false, and is easiest braindead position makes me feel disgusting as a support player.

Any advice on performing sidepools on the bottom lane (playing on the dire team)? I find that even low mmr players (wich I am too) tend to contest that pool more often then not just because they casually run into that camp and they grab exp and gold both from the camp and the lane creeps if they're a little smart. I understand that having an uncontested wave of creeps to farm and resetting the lane equilibrium it's pretty good all by itself, but I feel like giving up all that gold and exp by letting them have an easy contest defeats the purpose of the pull itself. I also feel that as a pull, the one on the bottom lane is a little harder to get right because creeps fight through the little opening you create by cutting the tree, wich kills your creeps slower and leave the camp with lower hp, wich makes it easier for opponent to farm and hard for you to perform the same side pull effectively without stacking first ( wich I'm not sure if it's a good thing to do since it's a jungle camp on the enemy side of the map). On the top lane I have a couple of wards I feel I can place to see the contest coming and the camp it' s generally a little more hidden. Is it the nature of the map? Or it's me misplaying? Probably the better question is how to deal with pull and side pulls contest in general but I feel like at the level I'm in right now I have major problems just on one side of the map.

I believe the main reason why people in lower brackets tend not to pull is because when they do so their lane partner dies 1v2 and flames them for pulling.

Jorge Eduardo Pérez Tasso because most carries have such bad tunnel vision on creeps, you need to ping them 2-3 times and say“pulling, be careful” whenever You pull. I do this whenever I see that a pull needs to happen. Very few carries will even ask for them in low mmr and on the rare occasion that they bitch about me leaving to go pull (normally because they think they are going to die because they haven’t been sending out enough regen or are playing too aggressive), I just mute them and continue pulling 🤗.

So hard to make plays with solo queue in this mmr when everyone has a different game play. Some just wants to farm and kill on their own. Some cores don't want u to pull too but just harass. Bad draft at start. Sometimes it's just pure luck. But it is good to know what to do when your mmr goes up so you won't have a hard time adjusting to the bracket's gameplay. Or you'll be just at a high mmr and feel bad all the time cause you can't keep up with ur current bracket's gameplay.

you dont say all the details, about dazzle: If u get an enemy creep to push past the creep wave on the lane, all u need to do is go near it in 300 range and aggro attack the enemy thats near the tower 1, it will still trigger it, you can attack even a hero on the mid or off and it will still aggro ur creeps on top, i do this and i pull the creep waves always near my t1 if their pos 5 doesnt stop me, its so ez to pull a creep wave near t1 :))) A better solution is if one of the pos 3 and 4 can aggro them enough so they back down near t1 and the tower will destroy fast the wave while u fight with ur second wave their first wave near the t1 . Its SO EZZZZZZZZZZZZ BOISSS

What video is that in just tried to look. And you do realise dota is about situational awareness. A dazzle early poison touching and rushing up a high ground into a 1 v2 with fog. Is bad. He was saying to bout out a better trade wait til closer to rune timing. With an as I would assume his point was more if they are down on rune and your teammates are in position to follow up you can throw spells earlier maybe to stun then desperate a first blood etc.

Man everyone can use your opinions but in a real world of dota you enter a game in ancient where are people who feed and don't even play close like ancient and you just keep losing. They need to change this ranked system because dota is a team game. You can be a great player and still stay at the same mmr because people abandon, feed and do other stuff to make you lose mmr even if you win mid and get a great farm. It's sad really. You want to cast spells off cooldown in teamfights, but the bounty rune rush isn't a teamfight. You don't yet have the mana regen to sustain firing off your spells whenever you can, so you need to save them for when they're most effective.

Why you dont side pull: 1. The vision range of certain creeps is too short to pull, they will never see the range creeps no matter how perfect you are 2. The opposing carry perfectly times the wipe of the wave sp you end up pullingnthe ememy creeps 3. The carry is a dumbass and dies after you actually successfully pull 4. Crybaby offlane wraith king cant survive if io isnt inhabiting his asshole

Simple. MUTE. And cooperate with the team. If they int feed, just report and make it up on the next game. Expand hero pool. Never play when you are emotionally affected, especially when mad because of a previous loss. Have a stable internet connection. (If possible, play when wifi is off or block off people from accessing your internet connection to avoid ping spikes.) And always check replays. From pros AND you. And know that everyone makes mistakes. Even you. Losing is learning. Good luck.

Sf didnt even have mana for raises. How does he dive beyond the tower? This is actually sad. Also not having good towerpush AND almost no stuns vs heros like pl is straight up gg. Okay so i played a game as pos 5 mirana. I was stacking and pulling fairly good i guess atleast we won the lane and my spectre got to free farm. When i hit like lvl 6-8 he didnt need my help at all. I couldnt really farm camps and i didnt wanna steal farm from my sniper mid. I just found myself not doing much for a long time, i tried roaming but the lifestealer was high in lvl top and a very hard kill when my pos 3,4 where just diving hard and getting killed. I have a serious issue that I need help with to rank out of legend I’m a mid player and I always have to pick first or second cuz no one wants to pick and we lose like 40 gold and this happens more games than not and I always have to second third or 4th pick and then I always get countered and I usually lose my lane when I’m countered I tried picking heroes that are hard to counter like viper and qop but the enemy still counters with shadow fiend for qop and brood for viper for example and I have to rely on my teammates winning their lanes so we don’t get stomped when I was in crusader and archon a few months ago I could still stomp mid lane even if the enemy hard counter me cuz this same problem was in crusader and archon but now I legend I rarely win mid when I’m countered cuz the opposing mid usually alaways gets last pick should I focus on trying to win these matchups where I’m countered or is there an actual solution to this problem like for example a hero that literally has zero counters? Man dazzle has been buffed im so glad. All u have to do is rush medallion first then arcane boots. Mid game u have farm aghanims and desolator asap. Bam u win. At least this works in herald. Some times its me dazzle who carrying my garbage team...

And i imagine if he had glimmer ,speed would've say " Why do you spent 2k gold on an item that can be countered by 1 simple dust or sentry ward." I have noticed whatever they do , it is wrong...but when he is watching PRO replay...everything is good :D Crusader leaves the lane to help team fighting , gets triple kill - BAD, Horrible !!! Should've stay and free farm! Pro player does it , and accomplished nothing - GOOD, amazing play !!!

Glimmer still gives the target magic resistance. So no, a single dust or ward doesnt counter the item. Also it forces the oppsing team to spend more gold on dusts and sentries... It would have been a better item by far than urn & vessel.

He lost the 0 minute fight because dazzle lvl 1 doesn't win vs disruptor. Disruptor got like that Lesh lvl 1 damage.
