I excel at late game scenarios even when i'm behind. To be fair I was 4.5k mmr back in 2015 and now I have a legend account from a friend and I have played 150 games during quarantine Legend players are good probably better farmers than me from the start but as the game drags on they really fucking suck they make braindead plays that I would never do. I always have bkb before 30min usually my 2nd or 3rd item while Legends buy their BKBs late or never at all. When you are behind the best advice I probably could give is adapt on the situation. You are way behind as a PA? go straight deso and get it by 17-20min rather than having a battle fury and get it by 25min coz its much more expensive and you cant fight with it.

i have bad AM lane earlier, solo laning against WR and rubick, they just spammed low cd skill. i ended up dying twice, i have no option to rotate bot or mid since it occupied (and they likes to fight a lot). and WR is not shoving the tower either (playing deny creep and not pushing the lane). so here's what i do to return it as 901 GPM AM with 70 min game. 1. go to jungle, probably just go for small and mid camp (i dont even have boots in min 8), go for 2 wraith bands since it give you good stats. 2. look where's your predator (in my game it is WR and Void), when they're not around, just push the lanes and back to jungle if there's rotation 3. look how the fight going, if there's someone overextending and you're pretty sure you can kill them and go out, go for it, if not just continue farm (my team we're down like 10-15 kills and 3 tower). 4. push the lane, for god sake when your team cant do that, it is your job, bring some TPs. 5. prioritize your target, i got my bf at like 20, manta at 25 or something, and can kill rubick/willow and goes out, just jump when you know they doesnt have skill that can make them escape (i instantly cast spell block or whatever is it after jumping to rubick couldnt steal my blink). 6. just do as what you usually do, hopefully you get good coordinated teammates

and here's another tips, just ask your team to defend the tower (if they're willing to listen to you). and watch speeed's video, it is pretty dang good. im archon 5, now im legend 5 in just 1 week.

In over 1500 games (EUW) I've played between 1.6k and 3.2k, but I never saw an AM rushing bf like that or never saw any carry players not getting at least 1 small item. Even when I played some games in SEA I din't see something like that. I honestly can't believe there are players like him lol.

I have a lot of experience in dota but I have only ever really played support. I'm looking to change into more carry game play as I've become sick of creating loads of space only to see my carry has treads and a wraith band by 15 minutes. True. Dont go for big items. If youre ahead buy smaller items, stack auras. Use things like boots/lace to get so ahead that your enemy has no choice but to leave the lane.

Thanks Speeed! I'm definitly supporting the idea of making more videos on how to play from behind. Say you are carry and your offlane and mid both loses hard. That'd be far more interesting than a freefarm game. As a carry, but even as a support it's insanly hard for me to turn these games around. If im hardsupp and my offlane and mid both feed relentlessly, I'll have no strong core to play around, (which is what i normally do do create pressure and make space for my carry) I've had the most success just solo pushing lanes in that scenario so far

Speeed can you do some of carries when they have a hard lane or the enemy team is death balling 20-25min and I'm playing an underfarmed jug etc. These games where we get free farm early I can usually win. few things i can point out. the reason why these players hesitate so badly and always make the wrong decisions is that they have friends telling them, where is my CARRY in the fight? why are you running away from the team when taking the 'guaranteed' tower? can you stop farming and help us in the fight? please dont farm in the enemy side, we have no vision!!! you're our carry, what if you die? also with all the mess of ideas in their mind, they dont look at the map, they dont buy the right items, they dont look at the time.

He would never go past 4k with this mentality. People in 2k 3k have this odd mentality where they prioritize kills over farm/objectives when the literal reason of getting a kill is to advance into objectives or more farm. Nobody on the enemy side is threatening his farm and yet he wastes a fuckton of time watching them and running around in circles like a lion hunting for his prey, thats about the dumbest thing to do on an anti mage in a free farm game like this. If his enemies had a slightly better game he would have gotten destroyed.

Im 3k and i have seen a bf rush am once, the video was good and informative, keep up the good work. But i Just want to say that People usually dont rush items like that in 3k after my experience.

Look speed, sometimes you just can't go up in MMR, no matter how skilled you are(compared to the competition). My friend is quite the decent carry with an average of 12 kills and 600 gpm, yet he can't go up reliably. However when he does team up with his friends(of a similar level) he almost never loses. Still insisting that skill is all that matters?
