Seeing his story from the beginning again is so reaffirming of how far he has come and how we would never have been lucky enough to adopt Bobby if it hadn’t been for the team at NCAR and all the people involved in his recovery but I have to single out one amazing human who is just the best, Adam - you are Bobby’s and my hero for everything you did for him. We will never be able to thank you enough for giving our boy his life back. Thank you doesn’t seem enough but we will all be eternally grateful for everything you have done ❤😊

Bobby is indeed the Most Handsome Male. Sarah and Major seem the perfect fit for him. I wouldn't trade my rescue dogs for anything and talk up the joy of rescue dogs to anyone I hear is looking to adopt a dog.

What the world needs is more people like Dr Scott... and *much stronger laws* regarding animal cruelty and neglect! In most countries, abusing an animal (even to death) will only get you a few days of prison, a suspended sentence or a ridiculously low fine. Most laws regarding animal welfare are also very outdated. Dr Scott, please help advocate for stronger animal welfare laws!

Most recently, I was part of a pressure group in my home town of Montreal, Canada, which successfully brought in the complete ban of horse-drawn carriages because of their appalling living conditions. Maybe don't try to school people you don't know.

What a transformation! And what an incredible team of rescuers. From Adam and his incredible dedication to nursing Bobby back to health, to Dr. Scott, and everyone in between and after, and to Bobby's forever family, and of course to Bobby's sibling, who doesn't mind that Bobby is not space aware. The pups together are absolute treasures and wow, both hit the doggy jackpot with such a wonderful family. That would be my wish for all dogs in need of rescue.

Such a beautiful transformation and a happy ending! All thanks to the rescuers, vets and nurses/therapists, Adam, Dr Scott, Sara, even Major, and of course Bobby! He worked his little butt off. That picture of Bobby sitting on Major cracked me up. I've recently rescued another cat as well! Found him in the middle of the street with a broken leg, and he's so skinny. I'll have him plump and healthy in no time, just like the other rescues we have. You guys are my inspiration.

He's such a beautiful little boy. I just cannot understand people who crate dogs for long periods of time. He's really benefitted from exercise, but especially the hydrotherapy. I had an old lab who had issues who sprang back to life after hydrotherapy.

Wow, thanks to everyone who helped Bobby. I’m crying that was so moving and every time you thought OK, there’s a happy ending. You took it to another level of happy!!! I did volunteer work at a shelter in Brooklyn and a female pitbull who is used for breeding and terribly abused emaciated came in, and I walked her every day and gave her treats. The local pet stores gave me treats for free to feed her and she was adopted by a couple. She was silver with those pointed ears, and when I first met her, she was emancipated she looks starved, beaten, and clearly she had had babies worse animal abuse I’ve seen but she was adopted by a couple and that makes me happy

What a wonderful comeback from the brink! Bobby is the kind of dog who's willing to try to do pretty much anything asked of him - such a great personality! I don't understand how anyone could treat a dog so badly for so long. Euthanasia would be kinder than that kind of prolonged torture. I'm so very glad he was rescued and found such a good forever home. I do have one tiny little quibble, though. Dr. Scott called Major Bobby's foster brother. Not anymore! Since Bobby has been officially adopted, they are now brothers! 🥰
