I had my right leg amputated below the knee due to cancer & the phantom limb pain can be overwhelming at times. If dogs' brains react the same that baby is a wonder since he seems to be a bundle of love & joy with no pain. Bless both the humans & the dogs in this video.

When my elderly mother-in-law came to live with us Riley immediately became her dog! He was always beside her right up to the day she passed away at the age of 93! Nova's adorable! Dogs are remarkably resilient, aren't they? My husband and I rescued a 3-legged lab mix when he was 2 years old. He was hit by a car and his original parents were forced to surrender him to the town, where his right hind leg was amputated. From the moment he hit the backyard he announced his presence and claimed us as his parents. He could run like the wind and turn on a dime! He lived a long life and passed away a couple of years ago at the age of 15. If Tyson was still with us, I'm sure that he and Nova would have made fast friends! ❤❤
