The hate from the crowd was overwhelming. What we heard was actually a toned down version - the show's producers edited the sound to take out some of the booing, before the show aired. Then BIG did Long Kiss Goodnight on the radio. Another incident that gets overlooked is Biggie going on Hot 97 and getting the Snoop / Dogg Pound trailer shot up, when they were in town filming the New York, New York video. Many people have said the same thing about Suge Knight. He did not run his record company wisely. Prodigy had a line in Survival of the fittest that goes "thug life we still living it." Pac thought he was dissing him cause Pac in a vibe magazine interview said thug life is dead. But Survival Of The Fittest song was made even before that vibe interview. Just check out wikipedia for the date the song was made and check out the date on the vibe magazine article where Pac was interviewed from prison. Pac was just paranoid. He also thought Nas The Message song was about him and he though I shot ya was about him, but both songs was said to be about his enemy biggie. Nas had a song dissing pac that he never released. He dissed pac because of him dissing NYC. Considering the fact that I shot ya came out a year after pac got shot band pac thought it was about him. Even if puffy released Who Shot Ya a year later vpac and a lot of his fans would have still thougt the song would be about him.
