The direct shot at the Source Awards was Suge dissing Puffy. Snoop's rant poured gas on the fire. He didn't start it. Biggie apologists can protest until they're blue in the face. Putting out Who Shot Ya was a catastrophic mistake. I have read comments from Pac's fans on the West Coast, about the reaction they had to the song. Nobody out there was trying to hear the explanation about when it was recorded. We saw the reception Biggie got at the Soul Train Awards in LA, after Pac died. The hate from the crowd was overwhelming. What we heard was actually a toned down version - the show's producers edited the sound to take out some of the booing, before the show aired. Then BIG did Long Kiss Goodnight on the radio. Another incident that gets overlooked is Biggie going on Hot 97 and getting the Snoop / Dogg Pound trailer shot up, when they were in town filming the New York, New York video. Anyone with an ounce of street smarts knows that was not forgotten on the Westside.

Many people have said the same thing about Suge Knight. He did not run his record company wisely. Bringing in the streets to his business and he himself adopting a gang leader mentality was completely counterproductive to Death Row Records and the interests of his artists. Like I’ve often said, Snoop is probably the only top artist signed to a record label who had genuine fear that his label boss would murder him. Suge had made it, therefore all that extra drama was totally unnecessary.

Thats Who Puffy WAS. Aslong as it made money : security / safety / consequences was just a means to get paid. And Biggie was along for the ride, making bread any way he COULD coz his first album flopped and wasnt selling. Even if it meant abandoning a friend who helped him when he WASNT selling records, opening his shows and sleeping on his couch taking charges for guns that were his - Biggie was never on Pacs level, it was all jealousy, a female trait. Pac got robbed by 2 guys, and got shot. The song makes no refererce to 2 guys robbing anybody. And even if Big released Who shot ya a year later Pac still would have thought it was about him. Exactly Napoleon, Biggie stans amd east coast/New Yorkers will never put blame on Biggie for what he did by released those two songs. Kirk Borrowes who wotk under both Biggie/Puffy said both songs were made for 2pac. And he also said, Puffy stole 2pac "I Get Around " playa image for Biggie. He said before Biggie released Ready To Die album. Biggie didn't hsve an identity or image as a rapper. Until 2pac came out with I Get Around song in 93. And Puffy took it and Biggie ran with it. And that's why they released One More Chance and Big Poppa. And that's why 2pac went off in that audio. Bashing Biggie for stealing his style. And people thought 2pac was being a typical loud mouth. Look up the video on this channel. Saying Biggie took 2pac I Get Around playa concept and that's how he rose to fame. It was his two biggest chart singles in 95. Just like I Get Around was a huge chart single in 93. I actually thought Kirk Borrowes was cappin at first. But that interview was from last year and that 2pac interview was in 96. Biggie build his whole career off dissing 2pac and stealing his stole for the money lol. 2pac didn't have to diss Biggie, he was already a star before he went to jail.

Any human being in that position will start questioning everything and start wondering who’s really your friend. Plus you gotta remember what Pac was going through at the time. I never even heard Pac mention ‘Who Shot Ya’ though. His main issue with Biggie was that if you the king of New York and I got shot by niggas from Brooklyn (cause they were wearing fatigues) where’s the information I need to further handle this situation? I think he expected Big to be there with him giving him whatever he needed to fight that battle and when Big didn’t show up he naturally felt some type of way.

Nah. Death Row paid money to kill Biggie. If Suge Knight didn't pay his employee to kill Biggie, Biggie would be alive. LA or not. Freestyle or not. Any Death Row affiliate or fan such as Napoleon and Art of Dialogue who says Big came to LA too soon is blaming Biggie or Puffy or whoever for what Death Row did. It's disgusting when they say that. Now Who Shot Ya was not about Tupac period. It was recorded before Pac was shot. It would have been released at the same time and been the same hit if Pac hadn't been shot. Big said directly the song wasn't about Tupac when he found out Pac had that idea. If Pac was mentally healthy that should have been enough. Big and Puffy didn't have a problem with Tupac to think of a diss song against him. Biggie didn't go to the hospital to see someone, speak with his father then diss him. The whole idea is crazy. Napoleon was a child and kind of hasn't grown up he's still under Pac's spell. The adults around Tupac failed to keep him grounded and attached to reality. Stretch didn't betray him. Wasn’t this dude just saying Biggie’s death had nothing to do with Pac….?🤔 Do these cats not realize that….oh nevermind. Who Shot Ya was blown up into something it wasn’t. It was just a hot song. Getting shot is not something specific to 2Pac. That angle was pretty narcissistic and manipulative to me. If that’s the stance you’re gonna take then somebody should have told big homie not to put out Hit Em Up.🤷🏾♂️ Biggie didn’t like that VIBE article and wanted an apology that he wasn’t going to get. You wanna talk about people not coming from the streets but don’t wanna say how STUPID it was to stomp out a gangbanger that don’t care that you’re “2Pac”. He stomped out Orlando but didn’t do nothing but yell and scream at Biggie at Soul Train. Can you say publicity stunt gone wrong? As far as freestyling Long Kiss Goodnight, Biggie said he was gonna have the last word. I think he had a diss cooking but in the middle of all the drama, Pac was killed. Biggie say he was gonna get his lick back. I really don’t care about it cause if a man say he smashed my wife and tried to end my career, I wouldn’t have nice things to say about him either even in death.🤷🏾♂️ Biggie knew the risks out there and he was warned. He wasn’t afraid. If Pac went out on his terms then so did Biggie.
