The Notorious B.I.G. channel is the official KZbin home of The Notorious B.I.G. featuring his catalog of official music videos. The Notorious B.I.G. is widely recognized as one of the world’s most influential rappers and has sold more than 17 million albums in the U.S. alone. Before his murder in 1997, Christopher Wallace recorded two classic albums as The Notorious B.I.G. His debut Ready to Die arrived in 1994 and helped revitalize the East Coast rap scene with massive hits like “Big Poppa” and “Juicy.” Life After Death was released in March 1997 just weeks after he was shot and killed in Los Angeles. The record topped the U.S. album charts and featured the hits “Hypnotize” and “Mo Money Mo Problems.” It remains one of the few hip-hop albums to ever achieve Diamond certification from the RIAA.

@@AG_Drianthis song suggests otherwise. He’s mocking Pac after dying (the line about being crippled is a giveaway since the accident was after Pac died) and even hints that he was behind it with the marine blue line. Not that I blame him for still hating Pac. He had good reason to. Why would Jimmy henchman bother to tell Biggie that he was going to attack his friend?

I love how he incorporated life in his rhymes man. A lot of people don’t realize he had an accident that left him in the hospital for six months. Cease was driving the car, Big never learned how to drive. When he said “you loose teeth like little Cease”, it’s because when they hit the rail Cease face hit the steering wheel and he lost his fronts lol.. That’s also what he meant when he said “til little Cease crippled me” lol. Man was ill fareal.

Who shot ya supposedly wasn't aimed at pac but he never said who it was for, could've been just that they released it at the wrong time and probably intentionally because they knew it was gonna cause drama around them. Just like with other rappers he dissed them but never said their name so if you dont know what he's talking about you have no idea who's he dissing.

L was KILLING big .. Syllable wise, punch lines, double entendras... If anything, their story telling was equal. When you break the verses down "Scientifically" if you will, it's not hard to tell who was more lyrically advanced, just have to be honest.. Big rhymed 2 syllables maybe 3. Big L consistently rhymed 3, and often 4 and 5 syllables. Along with the clever double entendras that big rarely came up with. Punn as well. Goes way harder than big with the Rhyme schemes and syllables, and faster flow as well. Big had the "image" and of course New York needed someone. If not him, it be Jay or Nas at the time. Really, 2Pac dissing Big helped him more than hurt lol

I heard somewhere that apparently the intro of the original version would've had the Bad Boys crew members laughing while Biggie was saying "He didn't want to die. He didn't want to die." @@XAVIER4703 yea cause he edited the verse i literally just said that. He freestyle’d it before 2pac death and after he died he changed the second verse to lyrics of him being dead. And later in LA he freestyle’d it again before he died. It was meant to be a threat that he could kill him if wanted , but 2pac already died so it changed to lyrics of him already being dead
