SWTOR 7.0.2 Marksmanship Sniper Guide

Been playing a lot of swtor lately and I really appreciate the builds that have a set rotation so I can just focus on the mechanics and not have to manage all my dots and stuff. So far Rage Jugg is my favorite but I’m leveling a sniper and will definitely go with this build. Thank you Mike.

That sniper gun u were using in this guide looks like shockwave's handcanon from transformers prime and beast hunters,anyways it looks dope and very nice guide

4:35 lol I remember doing an operation, there is this boss, I don't remember what it is called right now, but you go through this maze thing to get to him and you fight mobs along the way and if you somehow get on top of the wall, there are missles there that one shot you, because you aren't supposed to get up there, I used "roll into cover" on my sniper and I rolled up the wall and it one shot me. I can't remember which operation it is in, but you run this little maze before getting to the boss and my roll glitched and I rolled up the wall and died instantly.

My sniper!!! Thank you. Can't wait for healer guides. Personally I use Improved Targeting instead of Energy Regulator and I don't find myself out of energy. It should probably give better DPS?

Is there a reason the generic rotation wouldn't be, Penetrating Blasts, Followthrough, Snipe, Snipe, Followthrough, Ambush, Followthrough, and then restart again with Penetrating Blasts? It seems like you'd benefit from the target having sundered armor earlier on in the rotation.

Why I dont see people using the instant double snipe rotation or am I the only one. The problem with my rotation is that I pull too much aggro in multiple situations.... also its tricky to pull of correctly a quick double snipe.

I like Engineering the most for PvP simply because of the redonkadonk burst

Does it matter if i play as a smuggler or trooper due to armor profiency difference?

If you're referring to the storylines, no. You'll still have medium armor proficiency as a sniper regardless of what story you choose to play.

a few things on this is mildly wrong, especially on the opener. though it doesnt seem to matter cause sniper is literally just rage with massive channel times
