Many people spend 1/2 or more of their lives inside. So having a nice place to live is a big deal.

Supertramp - Crime of the Century Dire Straits - Love Over Gold Rolling Stones - Sticky Fingers / Let It Bleed Roxy Music - Avalon Since you said "Albums" these picks are ones I could listen to without interruption. I know there are others, but Vodka impairs my recall. PS: There was a video you did in London (I think), where you recorded a one man street musician for several minutes at the end. I wish I had the link to that video. I really enjoy your videos and the content, thank you.

Thanks for your appreciation my friend. I love Roxy Music. I had many RM albums, but not Avalon strangely enough. I recently discovered the song "Your Painted Smile" and play it constantly. Saw Bryan Ferry at the Royal Albert Hall around 1974/5 with Chris Spedding playing guitar. Here's the link you're after - kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZqOofaZ8frOLsJo

I couldn’t even imagine picking a top 20 but here’s three that I’m quite fond of. Depeche Mode “Violator”, New Order “Technique”, and Saigon Kick (self titled).
@BiggWorldCinema2 күн бұрын
Violator is my favourite Depeche Mode album. Love Enjoy the Silence/Policy of Truth! "You'ree much tooooo young" from "Fine Time" I'm frequently singing whilst in the Phils hehe

In the end living in a big city with an International Airport in good hospitals where you can find adequate lodging for decent price is the way to go as far as the beaches are concerned then you just plan it every 6 to 8 weeks or even less than that make it your getaway destination and that takes care of it

My 3 favorite albums. Foreigner "4," Rolling Stones "Some Girls," and Pink Floyd "The Wall." I'll be over there Dec. 6-21 for my first scouting visit. Cebu, Bohol, Duma and Coron. If our paths intersect, I'd love to buy you a meal and a nightcap!

Pink Floyd is a popular choice here. I remember boys at school walking around clutching their albums under their arms. Never got into them myself.

Hi I'm about to start traveling solo through Asia.(I lived in Dumaguete for 2 years around CoVid time) Just wondering do you restrict your baggage to 20 Kg and 7 Kg with carry on? are you able to carry everything that you need?
@BiggWorldCinemaКүн бұрын
Good question Keith! In a nutshell - yes. I'm carrying around 25 kg with me. My clothes weigh no more than 4kg. There's laundries throughout Asia. Unfortunately I'm carrying diaries/journals (that are dead weight) and lots of gadgets for my cameras. I wish I could go lighter as you'll soon discover that even travelling with that amount gets tiresome. Where you heading first? Keep in touch!

Da Nang is a good choice! Many expats have settled there. I love Vietnam although their tourist visas aren't as appealing as the Phils. Spent March 2023 in that area of Vietnam. Never saw a drop of rain.
