I can’t express enough my Sincere Gratitude for this channel! Please, Please, Please post more videos like these! It’s the best channel I know for Expert Bass Fishing tutorials I have ever watched including videos I used to own and watch all the time! It reminds me of Johnny Schultz’s channel he put up long ago. 👍

Wow. The scene with him in his canoe with his yellow dog really hits too close to home. I'd take Bella (my yellow dog) out in my strip canoe I built. We spent many a day just looking around East Texas at all the wildlife and nature. Good times. Lost her in 2016. RIP Bella...I miss you.

Homer Circle said "the bass often grabs and ejects the lure", unnoticed. When Spiderwire Fusion was 1st developed, I used it for worm fishing at night. Without the stretch of monofilament, I began detecting (and catching) ALOT more bass than before. Today, I use GLISS; a line that is many tiny strands of Dyneema, heated, and thermally extruded for zero stretch. Pair that with a high modulus graphite or carbon rod and you with realize how many fish are actually biting your lure that you never were aware of previously. My catch ratio went up exponentially.

Starting at around 14:27: I had no idea that largemouth bass sometimes travel in schools or may choose to live as a solitary predator. So they can choose to be part of an underwater lion pride or live life as a sneaky & crafty water leopard. That's wild.
@howabouthetruth21573 жыл бұрын
Absolutely. Some bass are indeed members of schooling fish all their lives, while others prefer to be loners. The loners tend to stay in or near shallower water with lots of cover, while the giants among schools prefer deep water. The truly amazing part, is giant trophy bass are among BOTH types. But the giants among those in schools almost always position themselves BELOW the rest of the school. For decades, if I run across schooling bass actively feeding ( feeding birds dive bombing bait from above, are the best sign ), I not only cast lures to the ones busting bait at or near the surface, but I make sure to try a lure deeper. Sometimes you'll get lucky & catch one of the big ones beneath this way.

How do you upload the video to this channel?
@Chames_Chaikowski2 жыл бұрын
@@charlanderson6312 The only people who can upload content to this particular KZbin channel are the people who hold the username and password to it . But if you have the movie you could just upload it to your own channel .

At 3:03, the angler never knew that one fish struck and released his lure and before he could react, a second bass struck. He never knew it was TWO FISH that struck; not just one.
