I just needed to feel like a normal human being on this day and while I did experience some anxiety and self judgement for being irresponsible I ultimately landed on this being something that had to happen for my mental and emotional health. I wondered if this might seem like no big deal to those watching but it was a huge battle in my head. Everything feels so dangerous and serious in my mind when confronting cancer... Hard to know when that is true or not. Your comments, stories, and testimonies mean the world to me, and I’m deeply grateful for the support you’ve shown during this journey. A special thank you to everyone who has supported the GoFundMe to help cover my out-of-pocket medical expenses-it truly makes a difference. If you'd like to contribute, here’s the link: gofund.me/c3e2410b ❤

I can't imagine what you're going through. That said, you can not start giving in to temptations, no matter how good it feels in the moment. I've been around this disease enough to know that the battle ahead will be hard and long. My sister-in-law was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. She had surgery, including a colostomy, and chemo. And, she fought like hell. She's been cancer-free over 20 years now and she's healthier than me! Stay strong Noah and fight, fight, fight! ❤

You have short colon syndrome an enzyme with meals will stop the diarrhea and also help you better metabolize the nutrients in your food. I suggest Zenpep or Creon and they are prescription. Please be careful spending money on untested cancer treatment or bad doctor actors. I’ve been in the pharmaceutical industry and have seen several doctors in southern New Jersey get jailed, lose licenses or fined due to taking advantage of patients. One doctor claimed to have a medication from Europe that would cure ALS. Desperate patients spent their life savings for junk medicine and died. She is in jail.

I think that’s fantastic that you gave yourself a “normal” day. I’m no doctor, but I bet that helped a lot with feeling some sense of normal again. Maybe plan a “no cancer day” every once in a while on this journey; gives you (and your wife!) something to look forward to. Praying for both of you!

Hello Noah. I will add you into my prayers. My husband has been fighting cancer for 10 years. He also has bipolar disease and substance abuse history. It’s been a long road, but he’s still here and most days are pretty normal, well at least a new normal. His was prostate which was diagnosed when he was 46. Very young for prostate and it had broken out of the capsule, before it was found. He now has Mets to his spine, which have been successfully treated with targeted radiation. He is on forever treatment with anti antrogens which remove all of his testosterone. His cancer thrives on hormones, so it has to be removed. Pretty standard treatment. We live in the present…. Have too. No crystal ball, we never know what tomorrow will bring, so we live in the now. You’re not alone, keep fighting the good fight.

Hi Noah, you will probably find that if you do Keto eating properly you will eventually lose the desire for those high carb, high sugar foods. Actually not only your desire but your taste of them will change that you will not even enjoy them should you snack on them again. Hoping you do persevere thru those carb yearnings cos remember, your life depends on it. Love from a Nanna in Australia.

I had cancer many years ago and was blessed with only needing surgery. I do though have a genetic disorder called Mitochondrial Myopathy and it is causing all my muscles in my limbs, face, eyes and hearing and speech to weaken . It’s tough to feel your body betray you. I have decided that it is what it is and I can cry about it or find joy in every thing I can do. I choose joy. If this helps great but choose joy.

Bless you, for going a little off grid with the yummy foods, too. Totally understandable and you'll get there with the Keto diet. It will very likely become the norm, given time. Onwards and upwards. This was so heart-warming to watch. At the end of the day, the love shared is what is most important in this life we are here to experience. The love present in your gym is evident and touched me, and that's through a computer screen! The power of love is beyond all else! As far as the food, everything looked incredible! I think you can take something from that day of forgetting the cancer. Of course you can and should be aware of what is happening in your body, but when you aren't checking up on it, it is okay to forget it is there. In fact, it is the best thing you can do for yourself. The lightness of living without that mental burden is not only freeing, but it is also incredibly healing. It is a gateway to the everlasting wholeness within you, and at the end of the day that's the real truth of who you are and who you will always be. God bless and, as always, thank you so much for sharing 🙏

I know this may sound strange. When I was going through brain cancer I got really good at listening to my body, if you can find a way to turn into your inner self I encourage you to do it. Your body is intuitive and knows what it needs. It will tell you what to eat and how much to eat and even foods you need to avoid. It takes practice and fine tuning but is very helpful and a good tool to have

Hi Noah, first time commenter! I've been following your Dad's channel forever and when this all happened to you a few weeks ago, I started following your journey as well. I am inspired by your raw honesty, your vulnerability to express your fears and all those feelings in between. I don't have experience with your type of cancer but my mom had stage 3C uterine cancer many years ago and her 5 year survival rate was a scary statistic. She fought like hell and survived. 15 years NED to this day. When you are faced with death and overcome, there are many blessings that come with that journey. You have such a powerful voice, sharing your story will help so many people. This is your journey right now. You got this! I find myself checking for your updates now when I log on to youtube in the afternoon. Praying for you every day Noah.

I want to start off with the extremely obvious fact here: Dieting/fat loss is absolutely nothing in comparison to battling cancer. I'm just using this tidbit because I can relate to the all or nothing mindset (as most human beings can lol.) That said, I read something YEARS ago in a subreddit about losing weight while not adhering 100% to your meal plan. I had so much guilt for going out with friends and felt like I'd blown it and let myself and everyone else down. This one person replied with a very simple comment: "One day is NEVER going to make or break your journey, EVER. Don't be so hard on yourself and enjoy life every once in a while knowing that consistency matters far more than perfection." I don't know what it was about the first part of that comment, but once I thought about it that way...I didn't feel so bad anymore. You shouldn't feel bad either, Noah. One day is not going to matter in the grand scheme of your journey and I think it's way better for your mental health in the long-run, which will also serve your physical health in a positive way, too. Take breaks occasionally and enjoy whatever you want. Think of it as giving your mind, body, and spirit the rest and relaxation it needs to double down and soldier on in your fight. You have earned it!!!

Physllium husk is keto friendly and good for both types of bowel movements. It’s best to look for the right kind that is 100% powdered husk. It could be because you’re not getting the type of fibre that helps bulk stools. If you’re essentially mainly having liquids then that is what comes out the other side 😊 😅

I mentioned this on a prior video but you need to consider that you may have BAM, bile acid malabsorption. You are now missing the part of your bowel that reabsorbs bile acid. Many people have persistent diarrhea without taking a bile acid binder daily. I have this due to Crohn’s disease bowel resections. Hope this helps.

Hi Noah, It was lovely seeing you enjoy your comfort food on New Years Eve. I totally agree with you that having something like that to enjoy is good for the mind and soul. The food looked delicious. A little of what you fancy won't do you any harm. I believe creating happy hormones will help your cancer journey. Are you on any form of antibiotics because your scar still looks very red? I wouldn't want it to get infected. Are they giving you blood tests to check for sepsis. I just would be weary of it getting infected, especially with sweating after training. I dont want to scar you or anything. Just be mindful of keeping it dry and clean. I'm sending you tons of love, and your dogs are so cute. Please remember Noah, live in the here and now. It's the best way forward. Xxxxxxx

I am so glad you're trying alternatives that are showing to be effective in treating solid cancers, with better efficacy than traditional treatments. I look forward to watching your journey. I went on a clean diet (basically keto) 5 years ago to heal a few maladies ( the main catalyst was Haglunds deformity). My physical health is my driving force that keeps me on track because I know if I start eating a junk diet my body will revert back to a state of illness. Sure, I sometimes eat a few things that are not healthy but at the times it's a choice I make, knowing that it's once in a while, not a habit. When I reject a yearning I know I will be happier later of that choice and most times that helps me get past the temporary cravings. With practice it becomes easier. It's a mind game . Fight like a warrior. Best to you!

I haven’t had cancer, however I do understand what you’re going through with the diarrhea. I to have had several feet of intestines removed and rerouted again not due to any issues/sickness it was voluntary. I’ve had a gastric bypass. My troubles are not knowing what or how much of certain foods to eat. Your/our bodies don’t absorb nutrients like they use too. I have learned that eating a diet that includes more fats ( I know I can eat a half of a donut without having diarrhea) should I eat more I get what’s called “Dump Syndrome, and you feel like you’ll never leave the bathroom. Just wanted you to know there’s a name for it with trials and errors it can be figured out. Keep pressing forward!! You’ve got this. Deedee, Lowell Michigan

I had a friend who had intestinal cancer and he had stage 4 and was told he had a year to live. He lived 8 years. But remember you are stage 3. My friends positive attitude, change in diet and his family and friends support was what helped. His cancer tumors that they couldn’t remove had shrunk more than 3/4’s just from what he was doing. He also had connections with docs that had different insights on treatments etc. and tried different protocols with traditional medicine. I have some information from him on some teas and a doctor in New York he was communicating with that helped him a ton in finding resources that I can share if you are interested.

Hey Noah!! Happy New Year to You And Your Families!! I think if I was in your position, I would have had a cheat day too. Don't feel bad about it ... Just jump back on the horse the next day. I'm sure that your stomach was not happy about it though? Maybe a sugar hangover the next day?? Looking forward to the next vid on your Journey. Stay strong My friend, We got YOU!!! May God Bless You And Your Family Each And Every Day!! 🙏♥

My husband had diarrohea for a few weeks and it eventually settled down as his surgeon said it would. It takes time.

Please for your own sanity remember stage three is curable. At least be cautiously optimistic. My husband is now thank God five years cancer free of colorectal and he too had stage three. My unprofessional advice is get chemo and radiation and the best oncologist you can get your hands on. I wish you all the best for this upcoming new year. 🤗,s Donna P.S. The picture is my husband.
