There's a couple of Burmese places in that area since the temple,Wat Pa Pao is Burmese. If you head north of that restaurant there's another; Kon Kum which is pretty rocking. On the East side of the moat,just below the intersection of Chan Moi road,is The Swan which,while not traditional as these, is amazing,absolutely amazing.

Omgosh I am soooo intrigued by the spilt pea tofu I use split peas to make so many mostly East Indian dishes here in the Caribbean .. the texture looks like when we make a thick split pea dhal and it gets gelatinous after resting for a few hours

I had split-pea tofu when I visited Myanmar in 2011, well before I became vegan, and I remember it being absolutely incredible. I first had it in a hotel in the middle of Inle Lake. Thanks for the nostalgia hit!

I love tofu so much. In indonesia we call it tahu. But in germany where I live, people have prejudices about tofu as being a vegetarian thing with no taste at all. But eating tofu is a question of how it is being served. They don't know what they miss by not trying it. Good video Mark, thank you.
