Hey guys who doesn't love molten Copper? I know I do so in todays vid I make over 30 copper pieces for the stack. Another Aussie subscriber sent me a few coils of copper so I melt that down and I also go grab a full length Copper pipe from my mate who lives near me. Now as usual sit back take a break and enjoy todays video and have a great week.

HOW TO MIRROR FINISH A BAR
I start with an 80 grit flap disc on my angle grinder then I use my drill with 50 mm round sanding discs . I start with 150 grit then go through the following Grits 240-400-800 Then once I get to the following Grits I use a small squirt of WD-40 1200-1500-2000-2500-3000. The WD40 helps to lubricate the discs and stops the sanding disk binding up with the metal powder . Then after that I use my buffer wheel on my bench grinder to get a perfect mirrored finish on it.

Hey guys how are you all this week? Great I hope. Today’s video pretty simple but a hell of a lot of copper pieces added to the stack . Copper is definitely one of my favourite things to melt and pour it’s just a shame it’s so damn hot . Now sit back relax and enjoy today’s video as it’s a long one. Take care and see you all next week😃👋🏻🐾

Hey D!...Most times, after watching your video each week, I move on to read your comments. I bet you're mighty tired of having to repeat yourself over and over about why you melted the new copper tubing. That's what the subscribers who sent it to you wanted to see, and you fulfilled their request. What did all the nay-sayers expect you to do? Save it and disappoint the senders? I understand why you did it, and if I were you, I'd have done the same as I'm sure you felt obligated. Anyway, I loved watching this longer video. In my opinion, the longer the better! I saw a lot of new cool coin molds, and that triple ingot mold with one handle was interesting as well. That unique color patina was quite different this time. It was a great idea to only polish half like you did. It looked awesome! Any clue as to what it was that might've caused that color? I'm just curious because I don't recall seeing it in any of your other videos. Finally, I'd like to point out that your skills have become quite refined as far as pouring those small coin molds from the big number 8 crucible. I'm sure it's quite heavy, and you did a terrific job pouring with minimal spillage. You most definitely deserve recognition for becoming a TRUE MASTER AT YOUR CRAFT!!! Especially considering the fact that you taught yourself by trial and error! You are my absolute favorite KZbinr by far, but I think you may know that already. I thoroughly enjoy all that you do! Happy Valentine's Day to you and your family, including the two cuties that have 4 legs! Have a great week D and I'll see you on the next one. PS...I did see last week's video but never commented. I became quite drowsy while reading your comments due to the fact that I was on strong painkillers. I slipped on ice the day before and broke a bone in my foot. OUCH!!! 💙✌️

Thanks Susan I appreciate it and your continued support is great. Yeah a few people got upset that I meltdown new stuff but what ya gonna do. Unfortunately with the growth of the channel now I’m getting sometimes five and 600 comments per day so I can’t see even half of them especially when I’m trying to answer emails help run a household and feed the dogs every 10 minutes. These long videos take me a lot longer to edit sometimes up around 15-20 hours and as I’m going to hopefully find a bigger house and shed in the near future I might have to drop back my videos to around 12 or 13 minutes just for a few weeks so I can get myself relocated but don’t worry I will never miss an upload 👍🏻. Take care Suzy talk soon😀

Sorry, everybody who thinks otherwise but Copper is BEAUTIFUL!!! Even more the pieces produced by Mr Big Stackd. If you consider making Viking Gold again in the future, and you accept fans request, try Red Tombac, its color is the most beautiful copper allow out there, used a lot in 18th and 19th century for gem bearing jewelry (still today for craft jewelry). The classic ones were: "Red tombac of Paris": copper 90%, zinc 7.9%, 1.5% lead "Red tombac of Vienna": copper 97.8%, zinc 2.2% The salmon shade varies a bit from one to the other, but a shiny bar of each is really beautiful.

Been watching your videos for a few years now. I've learned a good bit from you and Adrock and I'm seriously thinking of taking up metal casting as a hobby.

I think of the sheer volume of copper tubing and aluminum sheeting/grindings/conduit ends I tossed into the scrap metal bin at one job when I could have been melting it as a hobby and it hurts my soul.
