Have you observed a DRAGO CORN HEAD in your travels. I watched there video and ordered brochures..... I'm impressed!!! They have dialed in the positive attributes... Especially, down corn conditions and "light/ low moisture" corn and keep it in the corn head.

Farm I help out we Use a JD S680 40ft draper for Beans and a 12 row 20 inch spacing chopping head for corn. JD 8320RT for Planter DB60 and Grain Cart Duty Frontier GC1107 the JD 9530T with 2700 mulch ripper on corn ground and 9420T Chisel Plow on bean ground. Running 3 Semi moving grain from field to farm running 3,400 ac. we store about 75% of harvested grain on the farm the other 25% gets delivered direct to Bean plant and Ethanol plant. Here in South Central MN about 25 miles north of Iowa Boarder. Most of all of the work done by 5 guys generally Family farm.

Very cool! Surprised that he is able to keep the combine rolling just using one cart. Most the farmers over here needed two to three carts to keep their combines rolling and they were only using 6 or 8 row heads.

16 rows on half mile field of 200+ bpa corn would be 500 bu. Makes it tricky to open a field when you have to unload part of the hopper before you get to the end.

He has to stay on it. The combine is filling as it unloads. The combine never had to wait. It was just in time unloading in the go.

You said it takes 4 minute to fill the combine bin. So you mean that the tractor with cart can get loaded get to the waiting trucks unload and get back to the combine in 4 minutes before the combine is full?

Yes. It’s a close match. The cart unloads 700 bu per minute so it unloads in 2 minutes.

Great Vid. If its not Green then I'm not keen! John Deere must be the number one choice or is it pretty even with Case? We have big Case dealership and because its agco the Fendt back up is much better. Do you have your Versatile up and on the go and do you have a team that runs that for you?

By my rough calc. if they can fill the grain bin in 4 minutes and only 1 cart then that machine is sitting waiting. If cart unloads 1200 bu in 2-4 minutes and then travel time to and from combine.

As long as there are waiting trucks the tractor and cart are pacing everything just at the right time for filling and unloading.

@@bigtractorpower Yes, I was just referring to the short four minutes it takes to fill the combine. It would take quite a bit longer than that for the cart to get to the trucks, unload and then back to the waiting combine. The large fifteen hundred bushel capacity of the cart would, however, keep the number of waits to a minimum. Another excellent video, by the way! Keep up the good work.

Wow the corn in the cart alone will weigh 84,000 pounds and the cart would have to weigh enough to make the total weight to be around 100,000 pounds. No wonder they have a big tractor to pull that around in a field.

Great harvest video BTP. Seems early for corn to be so dry 🤔. Corn combining videos were more exciting back when corn was actually worth producing. This whole video represents red ink with $3 corn 😭

Well this combine and corn head are model year 2012 machines. I would think they have earned their place in production for this farm well over the past eight since they were bought new. You just have to keep moving forward.

The grain market is super frustrating. $3.00 a bu corn produces 45 boxes of cereal priced at $3.50 to $4.00 each at the super market. Hopefully the agriculture markets will improve.
