I really like the shots where the field tractor is next to a pickup or dump truck or tractor trailer. Really provides a sense for just how big the field tractors are. Thanks BTP!!

Back in the late 1960s I drove an International truck with flotation tires and a spreader box on the back. We would fill up and drive to the farmers field and spread the fertilizer. The only problem was keeping the front end aligned with those flotation tires and bouncing across the fields. Was a great job. We also delivered 500 gallon tanks of anhydrous to the farms for the custom operators to be use. This reminded me of those good times.

cool maskine but way to spesialised, for a smaller farm i guess. if you added say freewheel hydraulich support when needed to the undriven wheels + a trailerhook making it able to pull trailers rakes and such when not spreading stuff, it would be a good universal transporter.

Why is the front wheels facing wrong way?
@bigtractorpower5 жыл бұрын
They are set that way because It is a 2wd machine.
@chrisschoettle99325 жыл бұрын
Tread pattern reversed like that helps with floation. With the tires turned the "right " way , the treads are designed to push dirt away. With the tires on backwards will help bring the dirt towards the center of the tire.
