Talk about going uphill. When we left our home in Mich headed for Glacier on U.S. 2 it was a constant uphill and it didn’t end until we passed Logan Pass and headed back home. Us flatlanders got a lesson in “going west”. But it was fun and exciting to see our beautiful country. We took a break out in North Dakota and when Hubby tried to open his door, the wind was blowing so hard he said he was wondering why the truck felt like it was struggling. We were towing a 24 ft Fiver, the little things that you remember from a vacation, priceless!

Funny, on the map with your route on hwy 12 you showed a town called Roundup (12:48 mark). That's where my mom was born in 1935. It's a sparsely populated area now. Imagine what that placed looked like in 1935.

That was a great campground for that big rig! I doubt you will get that space and rate next year! The big money managers are buying up everything and jacking the prices for overnight stays up! Better think about a long term lease, or a few spot locations to buy a lot to park!

I just seen your video,you in Vegas. Next time you go down that way if you have’nt already, go up to Mount Charleston I don’t know if the restaurant up there’s been rebuilt or not but there’s also camping areas. You can look into by taking your small smart car And there’s wild horses and There’s a ski lodge walking trails. I think you’ll like it.
