There have so many negative comments about the sound of the drums, we defiantly fucked up by not setting up proper mics and triggers, we simply recorded the natural sound of the drums in a garage with the microphone on the camera. They sounded cool in person! We wanted to capture that old school sound of just jamming in the garage like old times. I guess people are so used to processed triggered rigs that they don't even know what real drums sound like dry. The demonstration was to show skills!

Proper mics? What are "proper mics" or proper micing? Attaching 55 microphones all over the kit within a distance of a few inches and using samples and triggers? Is that what consider good sound?
