Bihari Chicken Masala Recipe
Ingredients
Chicken: 1 kg, cut into pieces
Onions: 4 large, finely chopped
Garlic paste: 2 tbsp
Ginger paste: 2 tbsp
Green chilies: 4-5, slit
Tomatoes: 2 medium, chopped
Oil: 4 tbsp
Spices
Cumin seeds: 1 tsp
Coriander powder: 2 tsp
Cumin powder: 2tsp
Turmeric powder: 1/2 tsp
Red chili powder: 1 tsp
Garam masala powder: 1 tsp
Salt: to taste
Marinade
coriander powder: 2 tsp
Cumin powder: 2 tsp
Turmeric powder: 1/2 tsp
Red chili powder: 1 tsp
Salt: 1 tsp
Marinate the Chicken:
In a large bowl, mix red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt.
Add chicken pieces, ensuring they are well coated.
Marinate for at least 1 hour.
Prepare the Masala
Heat oil; add bayleaf, dry chilli ,cardamom
Sauté onions till golden.
Add garlic, ginger, and chilies; sauté.
Add marinated chicken; cook on high for 5-7 mins.
Add tomatoes, spices, and salt; mix.
Cover and cook on low until chicken is tender.
Stir in garam masala; cook 5 mins
now Enjoy with Hot Rice
