We didn’t face anything like this at the restaurant. Taste is really good of all the dishes we tried and Mithai selection and taste is top notch! am thankful someone has finally opened a well known north Indian brand in DFW and not offering usual chemical rich food color Biryanis. They are new so sitting options will get better with time. I don’t appreciate so much negativity in your video.

I think it’s not negativity, it’s sharing experiences and if you go someplace and you are not treated well you will not say I had good experience- that would be fooling the public But glad out of 20 plp one had good experience though poor ration of good vs Bad Trust me I appreciate honest even if it’s negative vs fake videos

i have been there and not going back. Dallas needs better service in the restaurants. They are not even worth trying. The restaurants next to them are simply south and hashtag ..try them instead

I and my friends are frequent visitors to Bikanervala. We always have had good experience. The only complain we have is their food is too oily . Hopefully you do similar negative reviews of some trashy South Indian restaurants

I shoot the video and do the review in the restaurant generally if you see the rest of my videos but at Bikaner, I did not, coz when i was recording, they were all happy that i will promote but when i started to complain, they asked me to shut down my camera. That's why i did a podcast .I did not want to put the videos i took in the restaurant coz i want to respect their privacy although its a restaurant open to public

I have seen restaurants who are always filled to brim like swadeshi, Chowrasta and all but never experienced a bad customer service. But i have seen this Bikanervala's attitude. khaana kuch khaas nahi but customer service sucks.

Had a bad experience as well. There was no onion in any of the chats we ordered, pani puri and raj kachori were nothing special. In fact, i would say bad! chole and dal tadka was bad as well! Never going back as well! You guys are doing great... love all your reviews

100% agree. We went there 2 times. First time with family. The person outside was the most arrogant person, he said if you want you stay here.. when there is a vacancy we will let you know. He had stopped taking names. We left and went and ate at Honest Cafe acrross 635. Second time, went with office colleagues on a weekday... More than half of their menu items were not available. I went specifically for Raj Kachori and it was not available. Will never go back to this restaurant.

Most of the Indian restaurants in Dallas are exploiting F1 students coming from India specially from Andhra Pradesh. Most of the servers and front desks are F1 students, and they work on cash. On F1 visa, you cannot work outside of campus apart from work related to your studies. These young lads have no idea of hospitality business. How should we expect good service from these students? This practice of unauthorized work and exploitation of Indian students should be stopped. Hope ICE and USCIS will look in to this matter.

I loved the food and Preeti is the lady at counter and always nice to us. Not sure what happened with this blogger but I don’t think they should give bad name to a business just because it was crowded and they weren’t given importance.

we don't tell anyone we are food bloggers, so there is no question of giving importance. I think every customer is important. I can handle crowd but items not available on Menu after 40 min wait is something i would not appreciate.

@@TastebudsAnu as blogger and influencer, I think lesson learned is to go at time when you can focus your review on food quality instead of crowd management. We all know that people love to crowd new eat joints and so was the case here. End of the day, you are telling people to not visit this place because you had a bad experience due to wait time. I’m not sure that is a right way to judge a new restaurant, specially if this is the first North Indian chain of restaurant opened in Dallas ever. Just them based on what they claim to be I.e. North Indian taste. I’m not saying experience doesn’t matter, but don’t assume everyone had or will have same experience as you did.

Wait is not my issue. Half of the menu not available after the wait is my issue. But you are right that if I need to focus on only food and nothing else, I need to go at a different time. I don’t think they’re sticking a crown on their head and going inside saying we are a foot block they must have gone with their family started recording and when things are not available on menu, it gets recorded and the owner gets mad. That’s the situation you need to understand.

I had the opposite experience. Food tastes amazing and regarding service that’s how a bikanerwala is so it’s just meaningless ranting. All the food was available. Regarding recording thing… it’s a personal thing before you start recording you should ask for it.

Customer service sucks …. We were asked to move table while we were still eating to move for group of 16 people. That’s rude and expressed concern to manager and they said THANK YOU. So there is zero value for their customers. So people try to avoid this place.

I completely relate to this experience. I faced the same poor service, and it was incredibly frustrating. After such a negative encounter, I’ve decided not to return to this place again. When service falls short, it really impacts your trust and overall experience. Definitely not worth revisiting.

Food was delicious when we visited and most of the Indian restuarants have service issue so not limited to this one. But food is totally worth it, please don’t be discouraged by service. If we go by service we cannot go to many restaurants. I never had such delicious chats in Dallas especially the cold ones like raj kachori, I would just suggest go at an odd time instead of complaining items not available,.. even other Indian restaurants have service issue during weekends until they scale up. So please do your review on food and service separately and go to restaurant again for food you really missed before you make a review on food is what I would suggest… You didn’t even they their signature items like raj kachori and chats. And it’s quite exaggerated review just based on your one visit during busy time, not fair to restaurant at all… All good Indian restaurants have this issue then are you going to skip all good ones on weekends?

Swadeshi,Chowrasta, Kuppanna, Veg Vihaar..you name it!!They are always packed to the brim every weekend and weekdays. We always wait and they do their best. Most of the folks are 9 to 5 job holders and weekend is the time we visit and restaurant being busy is not new to me at all :) When we are comprising with the menu, they should at least provide a good customer service so that we can come back. C'mon ..that's basic. If the food is bad, people go back to try. If the service is bad ...hmm we will think twice. There are so many restaurants opening up in Dallas that visiting one restaurant ONE time has become a big deal. But I am glad you loved the food and may be i will get time to visit it again after visiting the 20 more new ones..hahaha. I I think review should be about food and the experience which is the customer service. There cannot be different review about how the experience was and then how the food was that doesn’t make sense and second of all if somebody’s signature dish is Raj kachori they make you stand outside for 40 minutes in hot sun and then when you go and order Raj kachori and it’s not available that is the most annoying things so you don’t get food and your customer experience is bad all that adds up when you open a restaurant you have to make sure that out of five at least three are available, i’m not even saying all five but at least three, but when I went, they had only one available out of five. I had the same experience and you can’t say the service is rude, but the food is good so I’ll go back with my family with my family. That’s pretty stupid you want your family to have a good experience.
