BIKE Front fork Overhaul | Kreidler | Brommer

In this new series of upcoming videos I will show you the restoration process of my new bike.
Some details of the bike:
Brand - Kreidler Florett (RS)
Year - 1977
Engine - 2 stroke | 50 cc
Gearbox - direct | 5 speed (gears)
Modifications which needs to be done:
- Changing the ignition system, from a conventional 6V system to an 12V system.
- Replacing the wheel bearing (Front one done, rear wheel aswell)
- Rewire the whole bike with a new wiring system (Done)
- Repairing the rear drum brake (Sorted)
- Refreshing the oil in the front suspension fork. (Overhaul of the complete fork is shown in this video)
- Renewing the gearbox oil
- Renewing the rear tyre (Sorted)
- Etc, etc, etc.

Leuke video! Bij mij bleven de imitatie sport keerringen nog steeds lekken na het lijmen. Dus heb de keerring eruit geslepen en 2 gewone keerringen per poot gemonteerd. En enkel de sportkeuring als vuilafstoter gebruikt

Mijn keerringen zijn na montage eraf geschoten, met alle gevolgen van dien. Ik heb er nu twee slangklemmen om gedraaid en dat werk erg goed.

@@JanDootjes aajh dat is ook niet best. Ik heb gel contactlijm gebruikt. Eerst alles goed ontvet en lichtjes opgeschuurt. Dat zit al een tijdje. Maar bij mij lekte ie ook langs de buitenkant van de keerring af. Dus mocht je het nog een keer openhalen zou ik aanraden om 2 gewone keerringen per poot te plaatsen. Dat werkt stukken beter

What Kind of glue are you using

The glue which I used didn't hold up eventually. I did put hose clamps around the seals to hold them in place.

Could you do the.... same...vidéo .with one OLD FORK. ....?.....175 ml oïl. .?....the BOOK say 110 ml ..in each...!... me I put 90 cc..........175 it is for the CROSS model..
