Great video, sorry one of the girls had a crash, I wish her a speedy recovery. You and the family are having so much fun. I love cycling too, and I use to compete on the road and MTB cross country events in the 90’s in my younger days. I have close friends and their little girls I got into riding bikes. The girls started on balance bikes at a young age. Now at 5 and 8 years of age they can ride very well, it makes me jealous how they can handle a bike like it’s second nature. They both have nice bikes similar to your girls bikes. They don’t have suspension, but do have disc brakes. We have yet to hit the local trails, but that’s coming soon. When we do hit the trails I’ll post a video and send you the link. Keep us posted on your girls recovery. 😊

I was going to say, they descend nothing like me the old wrinkly, they were diving down like two little golden eagles! I hope she is getting better, those kind of bruises burn right on the spot but they will be borne with pride for the continuation of her life! Every one of us has had one if not many of them growing up, I still carry a tiny scar on my lower abdomen, I remember how disappointed and defeted I felt at the time. Such enthusiasm they bring it is lovely to see! Hope you all three are going to keep having the time of your life togheter! 😁👍 👋 =]

Brilliant. Loved riding with my kids although the logistics were a challenge! Anyway, looked like fun and a better outcome to my first and last MTB trip three weeks ago involving A&E and over a week in hospital! Hope she's OK. 👍

That looked so much fun I need to take my grandchildren nest year what age are the trails suitable for , my grandchildren have proper mountain bikes but no suspension yet, having said that they seem to manage the local pump tracks okay. Any advice would be great

My boy had a rigid fork Islabike first time he went aged 8 or so and coped fine on the green (Kermit) and the easier flow blues. He now has a hardtail 26” and can ride the reds there although is of course now angling for a full sus.
