Thank you. I'm guessing you're with Kody Lights? I just looked at your light bar, I like that it uses that lower tube and is a more permanent solution. I have to take off the light when the rack is folded up. Nice job.

Excellent solution. In most states, license plate visibility is also an issue. I bet this could be adapted to include a relocated plate bracket as well.

Thank you for the comment. I thought about this, but for the normal short trips I make with this rack, I didn't feel it was necessary. If I were to leave the rack on for extended periods, I think the license plate could very easily be attached to the bottom of the light bracket with little to no modifications.

@@goingadifferentdirection Indeed, I agree. You could even add a single LED above the plate to comply with the illumination requirement. Cheers!

Now that you have lived with your light bar for a while, have you had any issues with the magnet mount light bar not staying in place due to wind when going down the highway at speed?

No problems at all. I've made several 500+ mile trips plus all my local trips and not once have I gotten to a location and found that the light moved.

That is actually a good solution. Now you need to move your license plate to keep a rookie officer from seeing you as a ticket to write.

@gregchamberlain7554 as much as I take off the rack and drive without it, that's a risk I'm willing to take. I would rather get stopped for a blocked tag than get stopped for no tag because I accidentally left it on the rack which is sitting in my garage.

@@goingadifferentdirection I dont remove my rack so it goes where I do. It basically cost me nothing to leave it is place. Also, if I did decide to remove for some odd reason it I wouldn't forget to pull the plate.
