It will want to be better than the 3 because my 790r wore out the rear at 4K and the front at 5k. I rode the last 6 months with a small side wall leek on the front because I was a tight ass.

i got 2k km out of my rear on an africa twin. That is with quite hard riding though

Biggest problems of Karoo series tyres is round profile on ftont tyre. On dirt you cannot link properly, slide and fall. I perfer Mitas 07 series much more stable on dirt front wheel. Karoo 4 have same round profile as karoo street and Karoo 3. Shame to see that again

i have found no issue with edge grip very stable in all conditions even to 45* on wet bitumen GSA 850 F rally , the Kroo 3 no run in period , Karoo 4 a least 200k before you lean on them

Also found the same issue with Karoo 4 front, on dirt the front dances around , making the bike 1250 GSA feel like its going to tip in early through a corner.
