Great video. My wife and myself have cycled from Porto to Lisbon along the coast and can highly recommend it.

Cycling Faro to Evora, CP to Lisbon (I like to try foreign trains) and then cycling down around the Southern Coast back to Faro in 2018. Hope you enjoyed the cafe and pasteis de nata (Just saw you did!!) Countryside and coastline are beautiful. Faro (especially the Airport) was surprisingly Bicycle friendly!

Awesome thanks Manny! I’ll definitely be back to explore the rest of the country. The pasta de Nata was luxurious! 😂

@@Cycling366 Not sure how it is now but Portugal generally has many campsites, usually RV 'glamsites' but will take a biketourist/camper. All were daily maintained, and all had nice hot showers! (In the early spring cold it's a welcome nicety!) The RV campers were friendly, always saying 'hello'. Surprisingly, the only time I had to skip a shower was at a Hostel in Lagos where because of street construction right outside, had no hot water. (Not really complaining if it's gas heated water to eliminate any ..*Booms!*..)

Great video, really enjoyed it. Love cycling and loved my visit to Portugal 4 years ago but coming from Canada, cycling was not really an option. Maybe next time?

Great video! You have a talent for cinematography. You should come to Japan one day. It's an unbelievable place to visit and ride.

Thanks Christopher! Appreciate the comments. I use an Aplkit bivvy I’ve had for several years and they’re great. Can’t go wrong with Alpkit products but they do tend to be a bit on the pricey side!

How much would your flights and accommodation have been without vouchers?
@Cycling3662 жыл бұрын
Not sure about flights as that’s the voucher I had. Very cheap to fly to Lisbon from the UK tbh! Accommodation wasn’t bad either. Lisboa Central Hostel is pretty cheap and wild camping costs nothing! :)

where did you leave your bike box?
@Cycling3662 жыл бұрын
Hi mate, I left it at the Lisboa Central Hostel. Makes it easier to get going and return to your stuff later. 👍
