Dude you ended in Zongo, that's my mother's home village, I used to go up that trail(walking the cows) and wondering if one day I can go down with my bike. Definitely I will do it one day
@natehills93882 жыл бұрын
The trail leading into Zongo is definitely worth riding, we enjoyed that section.

"Slight food miscalculation" a day is more than slight but it all turned out good. Crazy amount of exposure all the way down and looked super technical so you must have been burning even more calories than expected. Good thing there didn't look to be any major climbs. Thanks for sharing this truly epic ride.
@natehills93882 жыл бұрын
Yeah, logistics are hard when you are guessing at unknown variables. There wasn't much info on the first half of this route so we definitely under planned our caloric needs. We would have survived for a few more days without eating if we had to, haha.

This one would mean less to us if it was easier or there was more information to help with planning. The whole point was to try something that had not been done and to get in over our heads. There are few places left in this world that have not been explored or documented. These are the experiences that make for lifelong memories. Character building at it's finest. I hope I do get the opportunity to do more of this style of adventure in the future. It was a very humbling endeavor that taught me so much about myself and my friends. I am grateful for this trip.

Sweet journey man! Those dudes were pretty excited to be able to ride your bikes, cool of you to let them. Thanks for the video! Also, some jerks are using your name and image to run a scam saying you are giving away a bike and helmet, just FYI and everyone else.
