One thing that's worth a mention is that this bike is very short person friendly. The seat height has a very wide range of adjustments, and in particular the seat can be adjusted to a very low height. It's wheel base is shorter than other ST type bikes , making parking lot maneuvering very easy. There's a lot to like about the ST, and this coming from a Yamaha FJR rider.

Hi all my husband & I brought the st1300 new a couple years ago & we love it!!! If i had to criticise the bike it would be as a passenger i find it to be a little firm!! Have ridden a lll over NZ & took it to Aust for a year.

Love my ST1300. I've owned three (and one st1100). They were pricey when new but now you can get them used for very reasonable prices. For the money, I don't think there is a better tourer you can buy.

I bought a second hand one in Dec 2010 with 25,000ks on the clock. It has now done 83,000ks and never missed a beat. Smooth with plenty of power; quite and very comfortable. Also handles well considering it is 320kgs. Great having a 29 litre tank, so I don't even consider filling with petrol until I reach 500ks on the clock. Just had the valves checked at 82,000ks and all within tolerance; that's Honda for you. Only complaint is the screen; which should been better designed to reduce the wind noise. Looking forward to the Honda upgrade when it arrives....eventually.

I really like mine, 2007 had it since new with 42,000 miles on it. Have a water pump leak yet nothing serious. Just check the water level occasionally.

I own one and I love it.My wife-too.Honda make a big mistake:stops making this bike.My bike made in 2012 .This year is last for ST1300, that was sold in North America. I think,Honda return this bike back again and I wish that. If I trade my ST,only for new ST.

I ride my ST 1300 to 240 km/hr in a long highway, very stable and smooth. Just for 5 minutes only, it is too much velocity to be safe...

Oh, you don't need anything else more...yeah right what about some heated grips,heated seat,navigator or at least a support for one,gear indicator and the most important thing: a fucking 6th speed.And yes some closing mirrors like my 05 burgie650 would be nice.

He's obviously not had a high speed weave yet!
@davesmith21554 жыл бұрын
With WELL balanced tires and wheels and proper tire inflation the high speed wobble goes away. Experience.
@hojo703 жыл бұрын
Some police models fitted with certain aftermarket accessories and specific models of tires produced a weave at very high speeds, but even then it was rare. A real world owner would likely never experience it. My 2007 ST1300 with side and top boxes and OEM windshield has hit 120 to 130 MPH many times and I've never experienced instability.

Fabio Santos Atlas's cruise control...100 $
@oldwaitekauri8 ай бұрын
In places like NZ the roads are rarely straight enough to merit a cruise control, so it depends where you live.
