Oftentimes it’s said that if you love your bike, you ride it as much as possible. But truthfully, if you love your bike, you’re gonna take care of it as well as ride it often. Poor chap didn’t have the time to care for his bike (or at least I hope that’s what it was and not willfully ignoring maintenance) but I’m glad he brought it down to the shop at least.

I wish I had a bike shop I could trust like you guys, but unfortunately they only take the time if you have bought the bike from them and because I work for an online bike shop and get all the parts at almost cost price, of course I only buy from the shop I working for.

Always enjoy the videos, so keep them coming. It's a small world I grew up in Lowestoft . I left at eighteen to join the Raf, and settled in Germany with my German wife. I'm afraid I don't go back as no family there anymore. Miss walking along the Denes and Pakefield beach now and then, as I am on the Dutch border so no nearby sea. I still cycle to work and use an Giant MTB for that. All the best!

Love that transformation. Changed tyres on my Boardman CX today and took the chance to clean and grease/copper slip the quick release skewers. A very noticeable difference to how freely the wheels spun after I'd done it 👍

Funny - I just replaced a spoke on an untrue wheel for a friend today and now you are doing spokes as well. Glad to hear you follow basically the same process, I first got the tensions dialed in with the tensionmeter and that made the wheel wobble even more. Some trueing work and the wheel runs fairly straight, tensions beeing in the 10% tolerance range. Good job, nice vid!

Hi guys. I came across your videos by accident. I restore and ride vintage bikes. You are the only ones I know who actually use torque wrenches in your videos. One problem I come across frequently is disc rotor bolts with stript heads making it impossible to remove. Have you guys any remedies for this problem. Maybe you could do a video on the problem. Many a good wheel I have had to throw because I couldn't remove the disc. My name is ken from Jarrow in the north east of England. Keep the good videos coming guys👍

Hi Ken thanks for all the support. Stripped bolts are very challenging and it depends bolt to bolt on the solution so we couldn’t advice, it’s something you have to make up as you go in our experience 🧡
