I like what he said that about "you practice to make it easier, not harder". I sometimes find that when we practice we often lose track of the point of practicing. I myself realized this last summer when I just got back to basics, got out my metronome and just played slowly and down the center of the horn on every note in this etude I was working on. After that my playing was already infinitely better. Thanks for the post Bill. -Jackson N.
