Your life IS more valuable than money....but that doesn't mean that you should relinquish progress. Surviving life is not living. Living a rich life is not only about amassing wealth; is what you make with that wealth what counts. But if you don't go build that wealth, all you can do is cry beside the ones that you couldn't help
@Jack-qn4vt
@Jack-qn4vt 5 жыл бұрын
@@humanbeing8449 Yeah sure saving money especially for important things is needed. IMO you can create living a fulfilling/rich life without the extra wealth with the connections you make with people and the things you do ect. To add to my point is like sure build it, but then use it. I think it's stupid to save hundreds of thousands or even millions but then as you get really old with not much left to live for, you give most of it to your kids or close family members...you know what I mean? If not that's cool, we'll agree to disagree

Legit. He stated it in layman’s terms. A dude from the hood doesn’t want to hear about mutual funds and REITs. He doesn’t understand that. He does understand the three points: Don’t blow it: a chain and a Lamborghini aren’t appreciating assets. That’s a WASTE. You have to invest and save WAY more than you spend. Keep it simple: you don’t need multiple homes, multiple cars, multiple wives, multiple baby mamas. One of each. You don’t need multiple hangers-on and people around who do nothing. Count your money: know how much you have AND DONT HAVE at all times. No one signs your checks but you.

I mainly used my new found status to bang chicks that were out of my league. It was great while the money lasted, then I had to go home and stsrt working again, and return to trying to bang Connecticunts. I never made big money or had fame but I imagine that my experience is similar to theirs.

2:02 - Bill gets progressive taxation wrong there. You don't pay 40% on 55k. In the US you pay 22% on that. So you'd take home $42,900. In the US you only pay 40% (now 37%) on yearly income over $306k. It's annoying when people misrepresent how progressive taxation works, because it's a good system and gives credence to dumb right wing arguments.

You almost have to sit down with these guys and say to them: “Stop throwing money around to all these people who say they’re your friends. Try this- for two months, don’t treat any of them to anything. Tell them your financial advisor has advised that you need to be saving and investing for the future and you’re having to watch your cash flow more closely. The ones that are supportive and still there for you after those two months are your true friends. The ones that have jumped ship were the leeches!”

So Im canadian (GTA) and the CFL is pretty popular here, especially the Tigercats. and like one of the Best players on the team made like a promotional video of his favorite places in Hamilton. and he's like "Oh yeah go check out some fashion, go downtown and get some jewlery" and its great cause hes highlighting local business. But the thing is. Its the CFL. and his Contract is 200k a Year. and I'm just here like "YOU MAKE 200K A YEAR, YOU CANT AFFORD JEWLERY!"

Don't blow it, keep it simple, count your money- that's all actually pretty practical advice. He's talking to people who have never had anything in their life and now they have millions of dollars and think they'll die rich. But his advice makes sense: Don't blow it- don't throw money away on things that aren't assets. Don't spend like there's no tomorrow. Keep it simple- only get what you need. House, vehicle, insurance, yearly allowance and investments. Count your money- keep track of your spending. Just because you're a millionaire right now doesn't mean you can buy whatever you want. Yes, his advice is really simplified for the sake of the soundclip, but it's sound advice for people in that situation. This man knows what he's talking about. I guarantee every professional sports star who went broke did not follow at least one of these rules.
