I'll NEVER understand people who love cruises. I did one. A week+ on a floating hotel/casino seeing the SAME couples who think we're friends and future pen pals. WTF???? My ex was so embarrassed cuz I gave a couple a fake name/number. Made for some awkward dinners and stuff. How was I supposed to know they'd call the second day of the cruise??? They could've just knocked!!!

I've been on a cruise before. It was nice. I appreciate the vastness of the ocean and the stuff that we can do. I liked the fact that what we did, which I think was Norwegian, we could order food from specialty places, we had unlimited alcohol, it was lit. Having said that, I agree with the guy on the right being afraid of the water. At night, I went up to the deck to just see what it was like looking out at the ocean and I just saw nothing but darkness and it scared the crap out of me. Sure i was on a boat and it literally felt like we weren't moving at all, but i also had to trust in a higher power for us not to get capsized. I'm glad I did it for the experience, but if i never had to go on one again, I wouldn't mind.

I worked in a Cruise once. I hated every single client passenger. In my experience, people who take Cruisers are the worst and if one Cruise sinks with no survivors, I would smile staring into the sky. :D Not to mention Cruise ships are the worst for the environment.

I think the best part about going somewhere is hanging out with the locals. Last time i went to NYC it was rainy Sunday and with nothing to do, I went to an Irish Pub and watched the Giants game. Within five minutes of being there I was sitting with a bunch of guys like we had been friends for life. Plus the locals know where to get stuff:)

I travel international every year seeing different cultures. I STILL love to cruise! On a cruise my mind gets a vacation. Everything is taken care of. Scheduling activities when you port is easy and stress free. When you work a critical job where your mind is all over the place. You appreciate the simplicity of a cruise.

911 TECH STUFF If you want to avoid future recording issues. You can try recording audio tracks differently. Here's how to do it in the free recording software, OBS Studio: 1. Open OBS, click settings. On the window that opens click the "Output" side menu option. There should be 4 tabs in the center of the window listed "streaming, recording, audio, replay buffer" Click the tab called "recording". 2. At the top of the window, you'll see "Output Mode". Make sure that reads as "Advanced". 3. Still on this screen, 1/3rd of the way down on the window you'll see "Audio Track" and 6 boxes. If you know how many audio sources you have click a box for each audio source, if you don't know just check each of the 6 boxes. Then click apply/ok. - Now you should be back to the original OBS window. 4. You should see a section called "Audio Mixer" with both a speaker & gear icon. Click any of the gear icons. 5. This will bring up a drop-down list of options. Click the option listed as "Advanced Audio Properties". 6. Now you should see a list of of names on the left, and all the audio track check boxes (6 total shown on the right) that you selected to enable earlier from step 3. 7. Basically what you want to do here, is for each name on the left column under "Name" to have its own checkbox on the right under "Tracks" (this means a total of 6 names can have its audio recorded separately which should be fine if you're only audio is your desktop/mic & maybe webcam audio) 8. For example, you could have desktop audio checked off at "Tracks" box 1. Your mic checked off at "Tracks" box 2. Webcam checked off at "Tracks" box 3 so nothing is sharing the same track number on the right. After this, click close and you're ready to record (hopefully your editing* software supports multiple audio tracks). -Things to note, some media players only play 1 audio track, but this does *not* mean you did it wrong. If you hear everything correctly in your video-editing software, that's what matters. -Also, this is really only good to use while recording & not live streaming. (during live streams, you'll have to check off the first "Tracks" box for each "Name" source, but *only* for livestreaming and not recording. This way each piece of audio should record as a different piece of the puzzle, that you can alter in your editing software, and not effect any other audio. Allowing you to mute whatever you need to while still keeping other audio. Sorry this is "long winded", but this stuff can be a pain in the ass to figure out/understand, so I wanted to be thorough. Edit: Changed "recording" to "editing*"

I've never been on a cruise, but I think I would enjoy it. I would still prefer actually travelling to a place instead, but a cruise could be a nice change-of-pace. Though, I can just sit on a beach for 9 days straight and not get bored. I also think cruise ships are kinda nasty, close quarters and recycled air and shit. Actually going to a place lets you get a taste of the local culture, which I enjoy. A lot of touristy places don't really have unique culture (at least not in the popular areas), so rollin' down that gangplank for 6 hours and leaving wouldn't really be much of a loss. I agree with BB that cruises are really "travelling" in the sense that you're on an adventure that you create. It's more like a guided tour with long periods of boozing, which is totally fine if that's what you want. Some trips don't need to be complicated or enlightening; it can be nice to just chill and turn your brain.
