Bill's been doling out advice like this on his podcast for years, so this bit was right up his alley. I thought he might try to do something different and go for the joke-y answer, but he kept it straight and honest like he does on his podcast. Respect. I especially loved his answer to parents who are afraid to discipline their kids when they're little. I see that crap all the time, and you just know that the child is going to be walking all over their parents by the time they're 12 years old. No one says you have to treat your child like they're in military school, but by not teaching your kid where the boundaries are, you're setting them up to become the future Donald Trumps of the world, and no one wants that.

Yeah I feel like he was terrified of what the producers would say the whole time. I don't think so much about how non PC Bill Burr is until I heard him on this vanilla ass show and realized all the awkward moments. He's a legend, and he makes people like Jimmy Fallon look even more sad, for letting themselves be choked with PC. Jimmy Fallon used to be hilarious, now he's.. Whack. A sell-out. Thank God for people like him and Dave Chapelle

Burr is a stream of consciousness. That’s why his comedy is so sharp and quick. He thinks of it on the spot yet he somehow connects it to what he’s already thinking seamlessly.
