The movie was originally conceived as a TV series, hence the “Zombie Kill of the Week” - which would have been a recurring gag in the show.

They even tried turning it into a TV show a few years ago. They had all of the same characters but none of the original actors from the movie. It sucked so bad that it was canned immediately.

@@glennwelsh9784 Yep, this was back when Amazon was just starting out making original content and they created pilots for several shows and, if I’m not mistaken, basically let the audience vote on which ones they liked? I think that’s how it worked. Anyway, I watched the pilot and it was… not great. It wasn’t the worst thing I’ve ever seen but seeing someone else try to play Tallahassee after Woody played the role was just not great.

Bill Murray's cameo was originally written for Patrick Swayze but he got ill and died around that time so he couldn't do it. The filmmakers then wrote the scene several times for many other stars to pitch it to each one. They posted some of the unused ones on twitter several years ago. Some of the other actors approached were Mark Hamill, Kevin Bacon, Matthew McConaughey, Dwayne Johnson, Joe Pesci & Sylvester Stallone.

Yeah, Double Tap's worth a check out. I didn't enjoy it as much as the first film, mainly because I felt that it was spoiling the charm a bit too much with forcing Madison into our faces and the whole cringey Babylon folks (not to hate on hipster culture), and because I felt Little Rock was taking too much of a backseat in the story. Situational awareness is a must have for surviving Zombieland, or any other zombie apocalypse. :D "What's this deal with 3?" It's a Dale Earnhardt reference. And fun fact: the Pacific Playland amusement park was actually shot at Wild Adventures Amusement Park in Valdosta, GA. I used to work there. The ride the girls get on to escape the horde was called the Double Shot at the time I worked there. The ride that Tallahassee hangs off of is called The Aviator. And the one he climbs on that's a roller coaster is called the Bug Out (which is a kid's roller coaster). And the circuit breakers that the girls use to turn on the park was something made just for the film.

[REC] has a special place in my heart, as the movie that startled my girlfriend-at-the-time so hard she flung her cigarette all the way across the living room to thump against the TV. good times.

I thought Quarantine was one of the better remakes of a foreign film. I like that they nailed down cause better.

@@richardb6260 it was to me too copy pasted scene for scene with less of the charm imo that the original cast brought in. The remake was a good remake and a better alternative to the English dub but the Spain ver of the movie still would be the go to for the first watch.

I laugh at how Woddy Harrelson’s character was marking out that he met Bill Murray when they starred in a movie together before (Kingpin. Pretty good movie with a nice song playing in the closing credits)

I can't watch that movie after reading the book. The movie might have been good if they didn't call it World War Z, but to call it that and go completely against the zombie lore of the book just seems insulting.

Hey Nat, every single reaction I've watched from you I totally enjoy. I've been with you from the beginning Star wars. over the past year and a half plus that I've been watching your posts. The one thing that still makes me laugh is when you say I hope this doesn't make any cry. You cry at everything, and it's so awesome. as a student of theater and film watching you go from technical observer, set director, art director, sound mixer, and director. then switch to actress is a lot of fun and that's why I love your channel. Plus you laugh and cry a lot. as always you're awesome. when the pandemic started and I was stuck at home And started watching KZbin I had no idea what reaction channels were but I found you. I love Star wars and you had no idea so I said let's watch this. you've been my favorite ever since. so I rambled there a little bit. Nat. You're the best..❤️💚☘️
